    Tire Recommendations

    The Michelin LTX M/S LT276/65/18 tires on my 2013 ran 110k miles and still had some life left. Expedition definitely towed better with the LT tires. I’ve had 4 Expeds since 2000 and all of them had the P series tires replaced with LT. No problem.

    My Limited had LT275/65R18 Michelin LTX M/S tires and they still had usable tread at 110k miles. Smooth riding, best tire I have ever had.

    Yep. Factory 18” wheels are 6.5” backspace. I’m running Raptor 17” with 6” backspace. Instructions say 5.5” backspace with 33x12.50. I’m running 315/70/17. So I’m about 0.5” to short assuming same geometry and spindle length as F150. Looking at distance from center of ball joint to edge. I...

    Starter has to spin fast enough to throw out the gear to engage the flywheel. Sounds like it is not moving into full engagement and grinding gears. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What I would do: Connect a voltmeter to the battery. What is the voltage before starting and during starting? If the starter drags the voltage severely down then it is shorting internally. If the voltage does not drop then you have a bad wire or connection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
