    Strange switch

    Does yours have engine auto shut off at stop? I've seen some solutions to mimic a person pushing the disable button. Just a guess. I do like the ejector seat idea though.

    Photos. The automatic car wash has provided a temporary solution. Those blue washer brush tips that embedded into the gap, hold the light tight. LOL I may just glue the bracket.

    Undercoating for rust prevention?

    $30/month unlimited car washes. Probably stripping the paint right off the vehicle as much as I go but I like to get the underneath rinsed at least once a week and hope the chemicals fill in the scratches in the paint.

    Maybe putting up with all the fruits & nuts is worth it for that weather. I lived in FL 19 years and recently moved to NY from Alabama. It's not fun but walking the dogs and gearing up has allowed us to acclimate.

    Today it was -13F by the Expy temp sensor while I was scraping the windshield. Then I must have hit some cold air on the commute that dropped it to -18F.
