to test for a bad cv joint turn the wheel hard right or left and accelerate (do this in a safe place like a empty parking lot) you will hear the cv joint clicking if its bad.
Do it at a slow speed, don't overdo it
does not sound like a wheel bearing issue to me hard to tell from the description
lol I have stories...
For a period of time I ran driveshaft dynos. They are called rotary actuators. They would try breaking a driveshaft by bolting one end to a stationary plate and the other to the actuator. Twist back and forth thousands of times until something breaks.
Sounds like fun...
in one of my previous jobs,I worked at American Axle in the research lab. One of the tests I did was called "beaming" We would take a complete rear axle assembly and mount it in the dyno so that it was supported by the spring perches. Then a HUGE hydraulic ram was setup to push down on the top...

I installed a Android head unit and kept all my original speakers amps etc. And it has a backup camera in it. It was pretty easy to do. Mine is an 08 not sure what a 99 has in it as far as dash opining. Mine is called a double DIN
I don't know but have you thought about a Bluetooth adapter, the kind that broadcasts a radio signal to your dash unit?
You could use that to play music from your phone. I used to do that it worked real well and also used it for phone calls until I bought an Android head unit.
just an idea
I found a similar leak last night on my truck and found out that the power steering cooler is part of the AC condenser.
My leak is very small but needs to be fixed.
I am not changing the condenser just for this.
Instead I am bypassing the cooler and installing a Hayden power steering cooler...
I wasn't talking about collecting it off the floor I was talking about sucking it off the engine where it was collecting and trying to figure out what it was. You are not clear at all in what you are describing I was just trying to help you.
If you go and look at my posting history you will...
AC service takes someone with knowledge and the proper tools especially when an unusual pops up.
I would take it to a shop that specializes in AC service and have them fix it once and for all
other than that its all guess work
well here's a little tip for ya
next time you ask for help and the person helping you is giving you his experience in the subject you are asking about, sarcastic comments will not get you very far.
not trying to be cute
trying to help
and YES antifreeze burning in the engine will give off a sweet smell. Take your hand and cup it over the exhaust while the engine is running. Then smell your hand. You will smell it if its burning coolant
this comes from 20 years experience as an auto mechanic
If there is enough of this liquid pooling I would take a turkey baster and take a sample of it and put it in a glass jar so you can see exactly what it is.
It has to be coolant even though from your description it doesn't sound like it.
where is the location of this leak?
Usually if its leaking or burning coolant you will get a sweet distinct smell. Also of course your coolant level will be going down, but that might take some time
the pressure tester will help you diagnose a leak, as long as it comes with the correct...
