Doing your own oil change (as long as you keep your receipts) will not void your warranty
Carfax has nothing to do with it. its nice to have it on Carfax for when you sell it if someone check it but that's about it

I took a pic and sent it to him and the pan is metal (I did not jack it up and check for myself) but he could tell from the pic that the dipstick tube will work so I will be ordering one soon
well some progress on the compatibility of the dipstick tube on Summit
I contacted the company that makes it and the owner replied (rare in itself) and he said as long as the pan is metal (not plastic) it should work. I replied that I was pretty sure it was and I would take a look. Then he...
Impact usually works anyway/ Blip it on and off a bunch of times, you would be surprised at what it can take off even on a spinning tie rod stud
Another trick is to run it back down with the impact so the stud grabs the taper in the steering knuckle again, then wing it out with the impact...
because an impact causes a sudden on-off - on- off- burst of torque unlike a hand tool. Can make all the difference in the world
I ran a front end rack for a few years at a Ford dealer so I know all about this kind of stuff
For the record I have air tools, no electric stuff but would like to...
Yeah mine is too but I am not sure there is a difference in the dipstick and tube or not from the 6R80
I guess I could look at the part numbers for the original tubes for each and see if they are the same
I have been looking at these and I think this is the one but I am not positive so I have not ordered it yet

Ford (and the other OEMs) make very few of their own parts
They are made by companies like that I work for, a Tier 1 supplier that makes them to Ford's specs. Then we stamp Fords logo on them as well as our own
This is one reason that you may find 2 different parts on the same model year...
upload them on this site
I found a perfect 08 during my search the first one I looked at I saw rust, that put me on high alert while shopping
I don't know why you did not look closer knowing of the problem with the other one
nothing wrong with the bendable lines, I used them for years and still do
As far as the flaring, if you don't know how to do it you can just get an assortment of line lengths and some unions and get it close enough to fit, then take back the stuff you don't use
just because the pulleys feel tight doesn't tell you anything since the tension of the belt is holding them and if you have a bad bearing the pulley could feel ok anyway
It may come down to taking the belt off and spinning each one individually if it is coming from the FEAD area
