Your description makes my $99 Sylvania 13" DVD player (we seem to use it more for my 4yr old granddaughter inside a house than in our 2017 Expedition Limited) that we bought since the $2k for an semi obsolete device seemed way steep be practical. It will run off a 12V power point or the 120v...
My 2017 Expedition 2wd Limited is a pleasant ride but very touchy steering (soft) since new. Vehicle is set up by Ford (tire pressure ok, only 4K on clock). Compared to my 2010 GMC Acadia, you had better keep your eyes on the road as this thing tends to go its own way very quickly, and as...
As for being alongside a semi for too long...When I was still working and driving 50K/yr I was passing a semi on an interstate and his rear tire on my side blew, the description of pieces going everywhere is correct and wow did it snap me to attention! You just do not know about a semi or their...
From a business perspective (not a moral one), I agree with Ford's Navigator matching GM pricing on Cadillac Escalade, it is "easy money" for them while the huge illegal street drug business exists, which seems to only be growing as more states legalize pot, which then the dealers use to boost...
Well $88,000 is not bad by Escalade profilers......a few more deals and they can probably make the down payment and one or two more monthly payments before the Navigator ends up back at the dealer lot and the former owner is on a "vacation" for a few years if society is lucky.
Or just go online and order Sylvania or other cheap DVD players, 13" screen is $99 (sit it on full duffle bag or squeeze onto console sideways) and can later bring it into hotel/house to play kids movies. Get audio splitter with it so 2 people can use headphones. Beats the heck out of a $2,000...
Double checked my 2017 Limited today after a gullywasher (but no snow) in South Alabama, build date in February. Looked over interior with flashlight, all carpet and headliner dry as a bone! (knock on wood)
My 2017 Expedition Limited with Sunroof has had 0 moisture problems since August purchase. I have had major issues in the past with other brands with leaks so I know the aggrevation try to find one built in a different time of the year if you get another exchange offered
Bigger issue on fuel mileage is the crossbars on the roof rack. Somewhere I read on my old Acadia they cost 1 mpg so I ran with them off (I had bought them to hold Yakima Skybox which I rarely used). Real world Interstate mileage at 75-80 on my 2010 was about 20-21mpg, while 2017 Limited...
Thanks guys! That makes sense that you can only set the NAV volume when she is talking! However I suppose to have independent control between that and Sirus, you have to have the Sirus shut off completely, then turn it on when after you have turned up the volume on the NAV? Does that setting...
I am having trouble independently controlling the sound volume on my 2017 Limited when I am in a destination cycle with the NAV and playing the satellite radio at the same time. The radio seems to overpower the NAV voice and I cannot control them independently (want NAV louder, over the music)...
It is odd none exist for sure! I looked around and was surprised the Navigator comes with one but I do not believe it will fit the expedition from the Ford parts drawings. I would buy one if they were available Same situation as with mud flaps on 2017 Expeditions!
No, it fit perfectly with the two oval fasteners and two plastic wedge fasteners. I have installed a few of these in the past and this seemed to be pretty solid, time will tell of course. Also, I put on the chrome cargo bed strips as you did and they look great!
Ok, placed order. It is a 2017 Limited Expedition, a clone to yours but standard length to answer your question. Looking forward to installing them. Now just want to find a decent set of rear mudflaps that hang down enough and do not look homemade!
Unfortunatly in checking the vendor site they do not make them for the standard length Expedition, I have sent them a question if they plan to in the future, will advise answer
The way I read the Ford note, it is only good for up to 2015 Expeditions. I believe it was done in 2016, and the one in my February 2017 production Expedition has been out of date on my daughters address. $159 is a price rate when Garmin includes it for free!!
I have a 2017 Expedition Limited with Sync 2-2 this was built I believe in February. I have only had it briefly, and was not aware of the WiFi update capabilities, so this was a good forum for that. One question I had is will Ford do updates on the GPS in the Expedition or do you have to...
Does anyone know if the trailer hitch cover for the Gen 3 Lincoln Navigator fit the Gen 3 Expedition? If so do you have a Lincoln part number? My favorite Ford parts site does not show it
Without some sort of cover on it looks like whatever was there just fell off....
The Gen 3...
Having had 4 Crown Vics in a row (2 were Crown Vic Sports (buckets, floor shift and interceptor package) with the 4.6 2cam I can say with about 600K miles experience (best was 184 before my wife totaled it; worst was 140K trans was slipping) I can say it was a very, very well built engine, not...
