Being a coil over set up there is only one option I know of right now. The Sumo spring inserts. I run them and have been pretty happy. My boat has a 500lbs tongue weight and it would sag the Expy pretty good. They did not totally eliminate the sag. But it is way better. Empty I can’t even...

If you go off road where there are sharp rocks. Take the Toyo AT and AT2’s off your list. They chunk really easy and then they fall apart shortly after. I have not tried the AT3’s. May put them on my truck this winter. Toyo RT’s are the same way as the Ridge Grapplers. Terrible on the slick and...
Nice info, I would never run my Ecoboost over 5K. But that’s just me and my preference. But I would love to see a 10K sample.that could change my mind. With the COVID I have only put 5K on my Expy this year. [emoji3525]

It’s a little worse. The back edge has Velcro on it. To to open the cargo area you have to pull it up. Then get your stuff out and realign the mat and push it back down so the Velcro grabs. The Velcro attachment points are critical on making the mat work well. They need to be lined up and...
I picked the max because it had more room than my short bed F-150. We rarely use the third row. With it down it’s almost as big as the truck bed. Fold the second row and you can get a piece of plywood in there. Not that I would. But I have not missed using the truck one bit for normal...

Unless you’re running 40’s why would you need anything lower than 3:73’s? Do we know if the Expy has the 8.8” front and rear or 8.8” front, 9.75” rear? Or something totally different? If it uses either of these diff’s I have seen as low as 4:88.

Not in my Expy yet. But in my F-150 I was caught in a major snow storm at night. I couldn’t see crap. Luckily the lane camera could see better than I could. I used the little bar graph at the bottom of the gauge cluster to navigate the road. I was super surprised. But most of the time it drives...
Without full self driving, I don’t think self centering, lane keeping is worth much. What do you guys do? Drink a lot? Have narcolepsy? My Expy’s pretty easy to drive between the lines.

The LGE will only transfer to another Gen4. If they change the body style it will be no good. So at $1900.00 with out anything but the tubing. It might not be worth the investment. I love the look and would have one if I didn’t have the moon roof. Already sucks to service with only half...
Just an FYI for you roof rack owners now this thread popped back up. I have had some terrible wind noise, rattling and clunking going on. I tightened everything up the best I could thinking something was loose on the rack or it’s mounts. Nothing seemed to help. Took the solar panels off since...
I had the Ready Lift SST kit on my 16’ F-150. It was 3” in the front and 1” in the rear. It came with upper control arms to get the front to align properly. Everything was pretty much maxed out on the front. Totally killed the ride. It took almost all the droop out of the suspension. This does...
Deadman is right. Unless it’s a high revving Ford GT EcoBoost there’s not much you can do. You can change the tone a little and the obnoxiousness a lot.

Even the trail where he smashed his step and rear bumper panel are very tame off roading. They picked a terrible line, yes it was dark. But almost everything they do is pretty mild. It’s comical how he says he is doing alright keeping up with the Toyota’s. I could take a Camry every place he has...
I think you’re worried about something that is not going to be a problem. Unless you are expecting the CV’s to last hundreds of thousands of miles. Look at my rear CV angle with the 3/2 and Sumo coil spacers. Nothing crazy going on here.

I have towed our 14’ bumper pull dump trailer with my Gen4. It has great brakes and the axles are pretty close to the center of the trailer so the tongue weight doesn’t go to crazy. You just need to keep the weight over the axles and not exceed the max tow or tongue weight. Ours is rated for 14k...
