    They are a row of LEDs that are glued inside the mirror, not a bulb that can be changed. If both sides have failed I would suspect a wiring or electrical issue, the LEDs usually last a very long time.

    Just to be clear, radar detectors are legal in most USA states, laser jammers are illegal in most states. Virginia and a couple of states do not allow possession or use of detectors.

    I ended up going with Mister Glass, they seemed to do a good job, but my insurance insisted that I had a $100 deductible even for glass, am with Allstate. The original windscreen was 18 years old and full of chips and marks, the new one, seems much clearer!! Hopefully there are no leaks..
