    Yes it does. It adds no structural rigidity, it is as thin and light as possible, so at higher speeds, and/or windy days, it tends to vibrate slightly.

    The old 97 suburban had a 42 gallon tank… (an ‘up hill both ways’ moment). Maybe they - whoever ‘they’ are - are trying to get us used to the smaller range of electric vehicles? The same ‘them’ might start slowing down the rate that gas can be pumped, too.

    I like the fumito, because you can put a tube on it and drain straight into a container, rather than a catch pan and transfer. Two 7mm (?) bolts at the front of the felt deflector allows it to drop enough to access the drain plug.

    Ah, this is an old and short thread. I've driven through a 'river flood' running across a road with a depth of 8-9 inches without problems except debris getting completely caught under the underbody 'guards', especially the carpet/felt piece under the transmission.

    I understand getting the fluid level correct could be a pain to get right - the ‘dipstick’ is right under there and needs different amounts depending on the application? Do you have any comment on how you overcame this?

    I have had good luck with Walmart batteries - never had a problem. Usually go with the Maxx or Platinum (AGM). If/when I have to change it on this truck, the one you noted is exactly what I'd go with.

    I don’t have the problem in heavy rain, but I’ve had the weathertech mudflaps pretty much from day 1. Don’t have a picture, but they are really unobtrusive and don’t scream ‘aftermarket’, if that’s what you are worried about.

    Looks like the Standard Mobil1 meets that spec, not just the extended performance. Indeed, it looks like all the Mobil1 (full synthetic) oils meet that spec, as well as the 946-A and 961-A1.

    This is correct, as designed. I've found the cargo carrier I have works alright where they are. If you want relocatable bars, Thule and Yakima (and maybe a few others) likely have options.

    With vehicle on front ramps, the oil only comes out the back of the filter 'catch pan'. I use a small funnel and tube to catch it from the rear into a container directly.

    Just checked my carpet on passenger side: it's wet (not soaked, but wet). No smell, however, but can imagine that it will mildew after a while. Ordered an elbow to do the above fix.
