    Liftgate Strut Noise

This one is where it sounds like it's coming from. Only on the down stroke. https://youtube.com/shorts/yV6EbysBXsk

    Liftgate Strut Noise

Left liftgate strut is groaning when closing. I've seen before that this can be cured with some cleaning and greasing but the entire strut is surrounded by a plastic shield that looks like it's not removeable likely to try to protect it and making it unserviceable and just a replacement item...

They FIT! Wheels are Fuel Coupler D556 +19 offset. Tires are 275/70/18 KO2s.

Was there ever any doubt? Now go post some more pics in the big tire thread.

Alarm randomly going off for no reason?

Strange, mine hasn't gone off (except for when I forget to disable the inerior sensor when my dog is inside) before but has gone off randomly several times the last few days, haven't figured it out yet.

Where is the block heater cord?

Looking at the build and price on Ford's website, the block heater is a $100 option on top of the Platinum. Most likely since it's such a regional need, as we certainly don't need them down here in Texas. I'd still look over your paperwork to see if it was listed as a dealer installed add on...

Where is the block heater cord?

If you paid for it, I'd be back at the dealership. Perhaps they forgot to install it during prep.

    Gorilla Nuts

Good stuff. The ones in this link are a little longer than the Ford ones but not annoyingly so. Before: After:

Where is the block heater cord?

What's a block heater cord? :rotflmao: Likely added at your dealer, might be best to ask them where they tucked it away.

Has anyone seen or made a storage tray for this colossal waste of prime space? Also, Forscan the best way to disable auto stop start still?

This. I went with some industrial black rubber bands. Hardly notice them when looking in and almost look like they are supposed to be there. My info is in the above thread.

Has anyone seen or made a storage tray for this colossal waste of prime space? Also, Forscan the best way to disable auto stop start still?

IIRC it's not recommended at all to disable ASS through Forscan, as it disables more things than just ASS. Using the Auto Start/Stop Eliminator plugin seems to be the way most have gone to take care of it.

    Possible to add CCD?

No idea, I'm stuck with CCD. This, the transition from 22" wheels to 18" wheels had a huge positive impact on ride quality. Not sure what you are running on now, but it helped me for sure.
  13. GixxerJasen

    Possible to add CCD?

By the time you spent the money for Ford prices for everything you'd need, you could easily have a really really good aftermarket setup.

Auto Stop/Start *USED* to be disabled- Now it's back

Did it say just "Disabled" or "Disabled due to charging" or something like that. If the battery is weak, it'll turn off Auto Start/Stop. It'll also turn off other things too, like the fob sensors on passenger doors. New strong batteries make the truck happy and it turns all those features...

    Platinum - 400HP Rating?

You keep saying this even though I quoted the owners manual showing 87 is the minimum supported, not the recommended. Why do you keep saying that 87 is the recommended fuel, please show us where it says that.

    Platinum - 400HP Rating?

What they say, exactly from the current owners manual, is below. They say it'll operate at regular, but recommend premium...

    Platinum - 400HP Rating?

Me: I wish I'd opted for the higher HP modes. I should get a tuner. And an intercooler, that'd be badass! Also me: Dials in Eco mode as soon as I start the vehicle.

2022 Timberline Expedition- spoilier puctured hole in roof

Goodness, that took long enough for them to do it. Wow.

What the heck, I replaced a part and bricked the Expedition

Just read all the way through. That first cupholder picture really bothered me but the fixed one makes it so much better.

    Lifted Stealth 4th Gens

Interesting to know, not sure how impressed I am with mine, and the limited replacement options and difficulty in doing so are a little frustrating.

    Lifted Stealth 4th Gens

Not sure about '22 but usually the stealth comes with the CCD suspension that hasn't always been so easy to swap out. Last I saw, there was a delete kit for it, but it still threw errors on the dash. Most folks go with the ReadyLift 3/2: 69-2831 that works with the CCD suspension. It...

    Speaker upgrade worth it?

Funny thing. In motorcycle communicators, there's two major companies in the arena with some fierce competition around technology. One company boasts high quality HK speakers for their unit while the other one boasts high quality JBL speakers. The competition rages on but Samsung is the real...

    Red Stitching

You ain't kidding, I don't want to do anything that involves "Outside" right now. You guys got me wanting to do this mod for sure now.
  24. GixxerJasen

    Sry..it’s probably been overtalked…

There's recently a way, but you still get lights on the dash. I wouldn't mind doing it myself.
