2022 Limited Stealth Beltline Chrome Delete RED!!!

Maybe if the wheels were gold. ;)

2022 Limited Stealth Beltline Chrome Delete RED!!!

I thought about the roof rack but that'd be too much I think. Rims, maybe a stripe around the edge.

2022 Limited Stealth Beltline Chrome Delete RED!!!

Front grill and door handles would do it I think.

2022 Limited Stealth Beltline Chrome Delete RED!!!

I'm going to say that it needs more because right now it looks out of place. Not too much more, but more. I'm not sure where to put it though.

    wireless key

How's the battery on the truck? It'll start shutting down the functionality on those things like the proximity sensors when the battery starts going bad. I had them starting to shut down on mine recently and a new battery got them all working again.

    Timberline Vinyl application

Someone else has posted that the rear trim along the hatch can be removed. That's info I wish I'd have had prior to doing this because I could have taken it inside and done it there. I did do it all on the truck. My Amazon heat gun has come in handy many times and it came in handy for those...

    Timberline Vinyl application

If it hasn't changed much, I'd do the belt line yourself. 2" strip goes on easy, wraps and trims simple. I did mine in an afternoon easily. No way it's worth that much money, either DIY or call another place. Hardest part is around the back corners with the complex bend but a little patience...

Trans fluid change that won't end..... Rant alert

Service manual states that you can reuse the seal if it's not damaged. I did a bit of searching and did find some folk here reporting that their pan was warped, especially toward the back.

Trust independent shop to replace cam phasers???

That really depends on the shop. I'd rather have it done by someone who knows cam phaser replacement inside and out, and due to the number of failures on these, Ford technicians are way beyond expert at this, which is sad. That said, I'd trust my local mechanic to do it, but would prefer Ford...

    Deep Trans Pan Issues?

That's still interesting. I haven't looked recently but for a while they didn't list a deep pan for the Expedition, however I contacted them a few months ago and they replied that the deep pan would work on the Expedition. I wonder if they pulled it off while they did the redesign and forgot...

Tire Size Question? Anyone with a 2019?

You might scroll through this thread -> https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/lets-see-those-lifted-big-tire-gen-4s.47228/ I think others might have fit a little bigger, but I'm running LT275/70 R18 without any other mods or lift on my 2019 Limited Stealth.

My experience with a 2018 expedition

Armada might maybe ride better, but it got beat with the ugly stick inside and out. My 2019 Expedition isn't modern anymore, but I still smile when I see it.

    Tint made all the difference

I need that for the Texas sun, but with us preparing to move to a new house, it's not happening this summer. Thanks for sharing your experience.

    Roof rails don't slide?

If they don't know how, there's probably little use in them actually opening it, and probably better that they don't open it.

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Ok, yea, I know about the not centeredness on the lift, I thought you had the stuff to correct it though, thanks for the clarification.

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Is it me or still not completely centered on the rear? Or is it just the angle?

    To the Max or Not?

I don't want to see what a 3/4 ton SUV would cost these days. :(

    To the Max or Not?

Our current Expy is our first and our biggest SUV prior to that was a Honda CRV, so the normal was absolutely spacious when we bought it. No way we'd ever need a Max. I also wanted to do some mild off roading and the extra the Max hangs over the back end seemed like it'd be a problem. In the...

10R80 Fluid Change Project Creep, New PPE pan.

Good to know. I don't do big towing so might not see the benefit, but figured it'd run a little cooler and let the fluid stay good for longer if there's more to go around. Will probably still go with the standard one but was curious. Thanks for the update.

    Cabin air filter

    That's a nice improvement over my 2019.

10R80 Fluid Change Project Creep, New PPE pan.

Since the OEM is throw away, this mod will eventually pay for itself, depending on how often you do fluid changes. @Wangle I checked with PPE and even though they didn't list the high capacity for our vehicles, they replied to my email saying it should work. Any reason you see from this...

Under hood heat shield or insulation

Not likely, that "Hood shield delete" probably cost you an extra $500. ;)

Under hood heat shield or insulation

There's actually a recent thread on that. https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/2023-timberline-expedition-key-fob-light.53188/
