    Proper Coolant?

Your online manual says the following: Engine coolant (U.S. and Mexico): Motorcraft® Yellow Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant VC-13DL-G WSS-M97B57-A2 Engine coolant (Canada): Motorcraft® Yellow Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant CVC-13DL-G WSS-M97B57-A2...

    Center Stowage Compartment Downgrade

I went with this model: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLNHL7WS?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1 My only complaint is one with Ford. When the vehicle is off, the USB ports in the center front stay on at least for a little while. While I'm pumping gas and punching data into...

Too bad it's from experience. :(

    Coolant Leak

Might need to look further back, where the rear heater is.

    Safety Recall 24S06 - Certain 2018-2020 Expedition/Navigator - Inadvertent Retractor Pretensioner Deployment

Got my letter. Parts are not currently available. Parts are expected to be available 3rd quarter of 2025. Hope they don't go off between now and then.

Cut the rear axels... just do it.

LOL, I'm on there more than I'm on here! Thanks, we are loving the Expedition when it's not in the shop! :D

Cut the rear axels... just do it.

Yes, it's for F150 wheels. You don't have to cut off much, but the dust covers won't go on without the cut. No idea why they made them so long in the first place.

anyone know part number to swap USB-A ports next to wireless charge in console to one that has 1 usb-c port

There should be another post about this because I remember seeing one. IIRC, there was zero advantage to it except being able to use a USBC cable, the charging power didn't change that was being supplied to it so it didn't charge any faster.

Emissions Recall 24E13 - Certain 2018-2021 Expedition - 3.5L EcoBoost Engine - Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Reprogram

This is me. So Dice, you use the standard CC in close quarters city traffic and are constantly adjusting the set speed of the CC as the speed of traffic increases and decreases? Seems like a lot of work, I'd just cancel and go manual till I can engage the CC again. Also curious, which city?

    Recall

We already discussed this on another thread. Also, I'd be more worried about the transmission than these recalls. Have it properly checked out.

Taking my 2019 in for Seatbelt and PCM Emissions Recalls

It's a recall, nothing to buy, they will "Fix" your vehicle for free. It's a reprogram for a module that might throw an error light when it shouldn't. I personally am not too worried about that one, but will get it fixed.

Taking my 2019 in for Seatbelt and PCM Emissions Recalls

We've got at least one member who had the unpleasant seat belt experience. It's real and it does do something. And your vehicle will be useless once it goes off and you can't use the seatbelt until you get it fixed. I contacted my dealer, said that when the parts are available, I'll get the...

Taking my 2019 in for Seatbelt and PCM Emissions Recalls

Let me know how long it all takes, I have both sitting here needing to be done apparently. Reprogram shouldn't take long, but I'm more concerned about the seat belts and parts availability.

    2019 ford expedition headlight

I looked into it. Checked the part number for each year until the year they changed up the front end. Same part number all years and no superseded part number. That means they never fixed the issue and if you buy another headlight, it's likely to do the same thing. I'm living with mine and...

Time to hire some new software people at Ford?

Check this out. I was dubious because wireless is almost never better quality than wired, but I've been rock solid for several months now, including a trip from Dallas to Utah last week. Running a Pixel 8Pro myself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pCLGzlpW7c It was so frustrating previously...

Anyone Tow in "normal" mode for mpg

I just got to tow a rental travel trailer over the mountains of Utah this past week. I read up on here and one thing I saw pointed out was that if you are in lower gears, the engine RPM will be higher while the boost will be lower. Playing around with it, I found this to generally be true, and...

Time to hire some new software people at Ford?

The absolute dumbest thing is when using the digital speedometer, pressing OK changes from miles to km. It's so easy it's possible to accidentally switch it when acknowledging an on-screen prompt. I mean, who switches from miles to km so often that it needs to be right there on the OK button...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Nice to see another Expedition with the Tremor wheels. They look so good on our vehicles, and they are OEM. And the axle thing is such a non issue too, glad to see you made the jump.

    Transmission issue - 2019

Sounds like the issues I had. Just know, if you trade it in and they pull the info from the computers, there's likely a crap ton of transmission errors in there, which might affect your trade in value. But yea, sounds like it needs a rebuild with the new CDF drum, which is what mine got.

    all terrain tires...

First of all, they are far better than crap tires. I've had them in every single condition including snow and have been overall happy with the performance of them. That said, I also wouldn't rate them a top snow tire, but they got us from Denver to Moab in a snowstorm and I spent all my time...

    TSB 23-2249 - 2018-2023 Expedition/Navigator + Explorer - Momentary Neutral-Out Condition In Drive

Eh, sort of. Still kinda clunky sometimes. I haven't had the failure yet in the little over a year since I had it done. I've also been a little gunshy about punching it like that again though, so hard to tell. I haven't had it back to the dealership to check for the bazillion errors it was...

    Hands free Liftgate

Be thankful. Many of us have had to disable that thing. It doesn't open when you want it to, and it opens when you don't want it to.
