How in the *** do you assemble it with the wrong size bearings??? Geez, and just when I was thinking that maybe by 2024 they'd worked all the kinks out of these transmissions. Maybe 2025 is the golden year?
They probably don't get super granular with the stickers. Base options of something like Max/nonMax, 4x4/2WD, HDTow/NoHDTow and then print off a zillion stickers at whatever the minimum payload would be under that. This way it doesn't matter what options they do or don't have beyond that, the...
I don't know if you'll find a solution for number 2, except for clean wiring, but you'll still see the camera.
I have a Viofo and have been pretty happy with it so far, just got a video of a scary near head on collision this past weekend when a driver lost control in a curve in the rain and...
Just remember, dealerships don't have their most expensive, highly trained and most experienced technicians doing oil changes. Seen enough to not trust them any further than the quick lube places. My local independent shop does a lot of work with like three guys. They all know their stuff and...
Put your Expedition in the shop for a month and a half and get them to loan you a supercab F150 while it's in there. Dang Expedition turns on a dime when you get it back.
I prefer the term "De-blinged" because it's more of a positive way to look at it, and my goodness does Ford love to bling up these vehicles with gaudy chrome all over them.
I have always enjoyed when people focus on the date like this. They don't take into account that things like the fact...
Reassuring me on my decision, I was down to the Expedition or the Sequoia. Although, I'm pretty sure if I had bought the Sequoia, it would have spent less time in the shop!
4WD? Heavy Tow Package? What wheels and tires? What's your normal driving like? Need details, because you might be right on target, if not a little high. So many variables.
When i changed tires, the diameter only went up a tiny bit, got skinnier and the overall tire/wheel weight went down...
Even with CCD, the ride was greatly improved getting rid of the 22's, though I went all the way to 18's on mine so I can't speak for the 20's, but it's got to be an improvement.
I have a bunch of in progress pics but somehow didn't take any of that corner. I've got them posted over here if it helps at all:

Just make sure you take your time...
The back corners and under the mirrors are the only difficult parts, and they aren't that difficult. A little bit of heat and they make the corner contours just fine.
Technically, counting my son's and the one I need to sell, I have five, but you live in a better motorcycle area than I do up here in DFW. And yes, thanks to bikes and cars, and cheap bulk ordering through Amazon, I have accumulated quite a collection of various fasteners and spacers and such...
I'd lose right at half the tank in a day, then it'd stop, because the bottom half of the tank was lower than the camera cleaner.
Nope, you have other issues then, sorry.
IIRC, someone replaced the plastic Y pipe with a metal one keeping the hoses. Won't help that the quick fit connectors on the ends are still destined to fail as well. Expensive hoses.
PIA having to pull the fender liner and all that to get to it.
What year do you have? Any possibility it's the front camera washer? There's a Service Bulletin for that, I know because mine was bad. I'd leak half the fluid out of the reservoir. I did the whole process listed above to fully...
Topped off with -30, but what was already in there?
I had this issue when I didn't think about it and took my Texas truck up into the mountains of Colorado during a snowstorm. Once I got things warmed up it finally started working, and I about ran it dry with all the crap being flung by the...
