    Probably not, the float gives you a low washer fluid level warning and if it comes on there should still be some reserve. Maybe your pump is failing. In my 2013 the tank and pump are buried under the battery. I think access can be had by removing passenger side headlight assembly.

    $7K at a dealership? Metal in the fluid? Chunks or shavings? There is a magnet in the pan to collect shavings that normally occur from gear wear. I would flat bed it to a reputable local transmission shop. Don't share the $7K stealership quote with them.

    I should add that the ECO boost probably has some additional sensors for the boost and a lot more plumbing to have leaks. I have also read that the intercooler sometimes gets choked up with water in the bottom. You might research that.
