    My 2001 had loose rubber trim and it turns out the windshield glass was unbonded on the drivers side. Found out when the glass cracked, perhaps in slamming the tailgate closed.

    I bought a 2013 a year ago and of course the dealer only provided one key, so don't you feel guilty about doing same on trade in! Call a local locksmith and you may find they can do it for much less, even right in your driveway. That is what I did and had the tech delete the other missing keys...

    Maybe your gear selector is not actually coming out of neutral? If you put it in park is the parking pawl actually engaging? I had my 2001's PRNDL indicator cable disconnect at the column shifter and thought I had blown the transmission.

    I have a 2013. The idiot who detailed mine at the dealer used some stuff that made the buttons very sticky. It is possible if you hit the horn and at same time put a lot of force into one of the buttons for the radio or other feature, then it is stuck down and will confuse the infotainment system.
