Wait...In this dual band model...if my phone is connected to the car via wifi for carplay how do I then also connect to mobile wifi to stream music etc?

The issue with wireless CarPlay as I understand it, is that you can’t use in car Wi-Fi if you’re also using wireless CarPlay.

Who knows. They really hobbled the display functionality compared to other manufacturers. In the navigator you can’t even scroll through all of your preset stations.
You could probably get them cleared for cheap by one of those rim repair shops. Of course getting your $$$ is the first/best option.

Small sample size but I had three GMs in a row before my Ford current product. Zero issues except for a warranty covered lifter fix.
Of course I don’t drive anything past 100k miles so anything, including this Ford should be trouble free during that period.
I’d add that these 6 year old GM’s...
Gotcha. Honestly though when people speak about the “good old days” in terms of appliances and cars they aren’t talking about the dotcom/y2k era which is why I used 1985 as the “good old days”...
