I have a 2017 XLT with the 6 way power driver seat. I want to replace it with something more comfortable like an air suspension seat they use in custom vans and small RVs. has anyone ever done this?
I have a very bad back and i would like something with better/softer cushions and more...
I have been looking for a replacement for my 2017 rear arm so I could use a different blade.
The factory blades don't last anywhere near as long as most of the after market blades that I've used on other vehicles.
Thanks for this info.
Now that I'm a little more educated can you all tell me what is inside the specific brand/model of the catch can you have? is there a baffle, filter, strainer or just an empty can?
Hey Str3tchnut5,
What is the p/n and where did you get the locking cap?
I want one for the same reason, to keep anyone from dumping something into the tank.
I have a few questions.
When I type in the search box, how do I need to format the words? if I search for gas tank, it returns all posts with gas, gas tank and tank. how do I specify both words , gas and tank but not either.
How do I private message someone?
When I do a search is it only...
Tobyu understood what I was trying to express. I do like his idea for the spring loaded 3rd pedal to keep the left foot involved and also disengage the transmission or torque converter when you pushed it. My comment about leaving it in 6th would be the equivalent of "D" and the computer know...
Why can't the manufacturers offer an option to use a mechanical "stick shift" that provides the electrical input to the trans? They could also make it so you could leave it in high gear and let the trans decide. That way we can still have the feeling of shifting.
I know this isn't going to...
Have you tried plugging in a small lamp with a 50-75 watt incandescent bulb just to be sure your inverter works? If the light works , then your laptop is too much load. If it won't light a 50-75 watt bulb then the inverter has a problem.
This may/may not apply to you but different electrical...

Hey Bronoholic, Can you tell me where the 3 hoses are going or can you add some arrows pointing to where they connect on the engine?
Has anyone thought of or tried to use a JLT with a "Y" connector to combine driver and pass side into 1 input?
I was considering a catch can, started reading this thread and appreciate the info from most of you but, I don't understand why Machitty is such a jerk. The point of this website is to help Expy owners by sharing practical knowledge to answer questions that will solve a problem. As far as I'm...
I had my hood wrapped, when the Expy was new, with flat black vinyl because of the sun's reflection at sunrise and set. The hood on a 2017 Expy is pretty much flat and acts like a mirror. The wrap was less than $100 (not the entire hood , just the flat hump in the center). It's almost 3 years...
My 17 XLT dose all the things you've all reported. I've had mine in to get checked at 2 different dealers and they said it's normal to give better gas mileage. I use the tow mode most of the time in town or I manually select while I'm in town. On the highway I leave it in D.
I read that the...

The is no guaranty that replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs will give you more light, the reflector needs to be shaped for the LED bulb. That's part of the cost to switch to LEDs.
Some of you who have switched the bulb to LED and seem to have more light output may have lucked out in choosing...
