I changed my password for my Ford Pass app and when logging on, the app froze with a blue screen and "ford" logo. Totally frozen for over a day now. Researched the issue online and found nothing suggesting this is not a common problem. Any ideas on how to get past the blue screen or should I...
With all the wisdom I have acquired in this humble life, I have found that you get what you pay for. There is a reason one product is more expensive than others, just let the buyer beware.
Welcome to the forum! You should peruse the forum for transmission issues, thermostat replacement and front wheel bearing in the 2020 MY. The sound system you are installing is great but consider additional soundproofing in door panels and undercarriage.
Living in NE Nevada, our roads are decent but not always perfectly maintained. Meaning, good roads but many rough patches. I am getting up in years and have neck and knee pain. That is why I love the CCD!!
I have the SPP limited with the sport tuned with CCD and the stock 22" wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpions and the ride is smooth as silk. This is my first vehicle with the CCD and it is NICE!
I had a professional installer apply the PPF first taking off the "Expedition" lettering. It is very simple to re-affix the lettering once the PPF is installed. I did it myself and the lettering is on a pre-cut application purchased directly from Ford. About $75ish. Definitely the way to go and...
Mine was built August '23 and has survived the winter road chip season quite well. I immediately installed PPF on highly vulnerable areas like the front hood and that has helped. Otherwise, the paint looks good and no unexpected chipping around the wheels etc. (I did get a few windshield...
There are several posts on this screen, and I agree that the climate controls are a dangerous distraction when driving. Instead of physical knobs where you can manipulate while driving, the touch screen takes your eyes off the road to use. A very poor design that needs to go away.
It is a true dual exhaust. Part of the performance package. The whole idea of the HO tune and turbos is to move air quickly (quicker) through the engine and out the exhaust. The dual exhaust negates back pressure and allows amazing acceleration.
Bummer man... Been there before in a F-150. Looks like all facia damage but still many $$$$$$s. Out west we have mule deer which are bigger and bulkier than whitetail. Always a hazard to watch out for.
In the summer months, I was getting 20+mpg with 91. Winter months I have been getting around low 18 mpg. Big difference. Its your choice in what you put in your tank.
I use 91 in my HO. It is a performance engine and when fed right, gives the performance when you need it. I don't do (many) 0-60s with it but the extra power when you need it is most appreciated. On the two-lane state highways around here in northern Nevada, it is nice to have the extra power to...
I purchased the 3M 2080 2" in gloss black and plan on do the chrome delete soon. I have a star white stealth with gloss black trim. I had PPF put on the B and C pillars as well as the black running boards and mirrors. The PPF makes the finish shine even when dirty. I had the PPF professionally...
I have a star white SPP with gloss black trim. I just purchased from Fellers the 3M 2080 film in gloss black to do the chrome delete. The red shown by the OP looks good, but the red is a bit out of balance with the overall color. I believe for my black gloss trim on the star white, the black...
When winter came this year, I had summer windshield bug cleaner stuff in my reservoir. Instead of purging all that before adding winter solution, I poured 1 pint of 92% methanol (rubbing alcohol) into the summer solution. Then I ran the pumps to purge the lines (front and back) to get all the...
I too upgraded to Pirelli Scorpions Weathercraft which are fantastic tires. The grabbers rode fine with no needed balancing, so you must have gotten a bad lot or they sat too long waiting to be sold. Why Ford puts these on their vehicles without an optional choice is beyond me.
I think when he bought it used, it had 12,000+ miles and oil life set to 17,000+ miles. So all good. Otherwise, I am not jumping into the oil interval debate!!
