    Do you have the space/time/tools/ability to do it? Would save yourself 8 to 9 thou.... 86K miles and the timing set and/or phasers are bad? What oil/filter do you run? Or maybe...NOT run, perhaps... Mine's got 189K, still starts, and idles like brand new.

    Chevy owners/drivers....what can ya say? LMAO I did that once in an F150, but it was only a few hundred feet to get it into the shop with a lift so I could put the newly rebuilt driveshaft back in. While it probably would be ok, I wouldn't want to drive far like that regardless of vehicle.
