    Cheep struts!!! Motorcraft. Rockauto

Those motorcraft struts I bought awhile back...I'll look at them to see if they're like yours...monroe crap under a label. I'll let ya know. I ended up finding two spring seats, and so sent have returned the fronts, the rears I still have, sans seats. I'll open one up again and see if the label...

    Steering wheel upside down

Not 100% certain about an Expedition, but every other Ford I've had the wheel out of, they only go on one way. I'd be checking the steering parts underneath. Sounds like someone's castaway and you're trying to rescue it, no? Those can fun, and headachy, at the same time. Usually the headaches...

    Freaking Catalytic Converters stolen!!

Lots'o internet statements saying walker stuff isn't famous for their longevity...just sayin'. Maybe you got a good set, or just spend the time washing stuff in the winter to keep it from getting salt eaten.. ;)

    2014 Navigator Plug & Coils

Plus are cheaper than coilpacks if you're just gonna shadetree it. But if you do need to get coilpacks...motorcrafts are the way to go. Cheap shit is literally that..cheap shit. Especially since you want it to go another 100K. Mine needs coil packs as well. I'm going to check the plugs...

How can I remedy an imbalance in my Expy's weight?

Heard of those leveling kits? They typically are for example a 3" front, 2" rear...used to fit bigger tires... Point is...if you want to bring the back end up just a tad, maybe have an inch set put in the rear? They're strut spacers, not a real lift kit, per se. All they do is increase the...

    Grille parts/trim

You might try a junkyard, some of the bigger chains have online inventories you can search, probably be easier, much less cheaper to go that route rather than buy the whole set online. I'm just making an assumption, though. Mine's an '11 and I stuck a Stehl grille on it lol

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic, or honest in your thoughts. Either way, washing my hands of this thread.

3rd shock blown out on 2018 XLT

2K for shocks??? Holy hell. Can you do it yourself? I just did mine (all 4, actually), and put Bilsteins under it, along with lift spacers. Mine's an '11 though, but pretty much same underneath. Yeah, that 2K has me in sticker shock. LOL

    Show your Lifted 3rd Gens

No, I measured it on the running board with a level, it's flat LOL. Probably the angle of the pic, and my driveway does run downhill, too/ Mastercraft somethings on the tire. I picked 'em up with the tires on (used), they're about half tread. I plan on keeping them as-is through winter, in the...

    My '11 EL

Last night and today. It goes in tomorrow for an alignment, by the way it drives, there's toe that's out or in. Can't tell by looking, in any case, it'll be fixed tomorrow. Forgot to add that when I did the fronts, the upper ball joint nut wouldn't come off, so I replaced the upper control...

    2020 Expedition up in flames

Ignorance comes in all flavors, sizes and ages. I find the dishwasher comments amusing. Hoping mine doesn't crap the bed. I've had it since 2009, it's a GE, says quietpower 3 on the door. I don't remember what I paid for it, probably around 400, 500 bucks. Never had an issue with it, aside from...

Replacing all bulbs with led, what's your opinion after all ?

I did an LED swap for headlights and fogs, all interior dome, license plate lights, puddle lamps, and of course the tail lights are aftermarket and they already have LED tails/turns/brake, but I did update the back light with LED in those as well. Also I have a smoked LED 3rd brake light. I...

    2020 Expedition up in flames

You guys remember the 80's Fords that would catch fire due the ignition switch failing? LOL Cars burn. Not just Ford. The aluminum body melts due to the heat. You can melt beer cans in a camp fire if you have good wood. Well, it melts or burns or something...never really cared enough to look...

    2020 Expedition up in flames

Your vehicle burns, you get a new car. If it's a new(er) one and you have good insurance, it should cover the total loss. But not everyone has homeowners insurance. It's a hell of a lot easier to find a new car than it is a home, is just my point.

    Lug nut question

Going by your first post, according to sentence structure, one was made to think that you had a 1st gen, those do have 5 lug wheels. ;)
