    In Tow/Haul the xmsn in my 2014 automatically downshifts without pressing brakes. Sometimes it will downshift to 3500-4000 rpm at which point the engine is screaming so I’ll press brakes steadily and lightly to override it. I learned to never pulse tap the brakes as that interferes with the ABS.

    Bought my 2014 with tow package with about 35k on it in 2016. Only major fix was replacing front brakes last year at about 73K. Sweet tow vehicle. Got the damn galvanic metal problem on the tailgate, though.

    I have a 2014 Limited with HD tow. My analog temp gauge doesn’t budge climbing the Cascades or Sierras. And those Mtn ranges are seriously steep! That said I don’t try to climb a steep grade above 3000 rpm. I’m happy to stay in the truck lane or take pull outs.

    I’ve been using an Andersen WDH/Antisway system for 7+ years. It’ll handle up to 14,000 lbs of trailer and 1400 lbs of tongue weight. Driven in all kinds of conditions and it’s a solid ride. Very easy to put on and take off. Great customer service.

    I’ve been using the Andersen WDH for 8 years. It will dial in tongue weights from 0 to 1400 lbs and trailer weights from 0 to 14,000 lbs. Easy DIY install. Handles sway like a champ.

    I'm only getting about a 1/4" rise when I drop the trailer on the hitch, so as far as that goes, I guess I'm good. Just sitting there, though, whether I have a load or not, the front sits about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" higher than the rear, which is back to my original issue.
