    Here in Central Texas, a full synthetic oil change on my 03 expedition runs between $110 and $120. Or I can do it myself for about $40, but then I have to take the old oil to a recycler, usually an auto parts store like O'Reilley's.

    Vacuum leak perhaps? The doors are operated by engine vacuum. When there isn't any vacuum, the doors close. I think.

    Have you tried removing the cover on the passenger side rocker panel? Sometimes they fill up with washer fluid and short out the wiring going to the rear of the vehicle.

    When I bought my used '03, they did not have the key pad code either. After some you tube searches, I found that the code is written under the passenger side dash. I wish I could remember exactly where. Might have had to remove the glove box to find it. Maybe this You Tube video will help...

    Isn't P0301 code specific to cylinder #1? Trying swapping coils and or plugs with #2 cylinder and see if the code changes to P0302.

    My old 03 Expedition would do the same thing, especially on very humid days. Could actually see little tiny snow flakes coming out the vent. Turn it off for 5 minutes and it would come back to normal for 30 minutes or so. I've seen them do that when the refrigerant is low.

    I had the same problem intermittently for a while, but it seems to have cleared up. It was more of a shudder than a stutter. Hasn't done it in the last year. Not saying that was the problem, but I did replace all the coils and plugs last year.
