id love to see your switch pro install photos when you get it done. im also looking to go arb style rack. im planning to take my bars stock bars off and make some feet that match the factory holes. but haven't started down this rabbit hole yet. after my first trip in the expi i know i need a...
I’d get whichever one has the hd tow package. That’s the best option on these trucks. Even though i don’t tow anything heavy. I wanted 4 low and better cooling. I can believe they even come in 4wd with no low range
I apply a special bronzer to the tires. I feel it gives them a unique look. I find the bronzer gets in all the door jams and makes the cameras hard to see out of though. Only time will tell if I stick with this method
National Luna isn’t a very good option anymore. Ten years ago sure but currently dometic and arb make the best on the market. Way more features. They all run the same compressors. It’s down to accessories and colors now between those two. National Luna was great though back in the day
I’ll test it this trip and have some followup. As far as secondary battery options. There aren’t any good ones so far even for f150s. My buddy has an f150 and we are going to put it behind the back seat. There’s a spot some people try to hide them inside the frame rail too but neither is ideal...
so i found out something weird tonight. after purchasing a second battery and a cheap plastic battery box i spent a few hours building a wiring harness and used a relay to switch from starter to house battery. i also added my ctek d250sa so i could solar change even though i have not connected...
I have looked and not been successful finding a thread on this. has anyone figured out how to make the rear 12v socket always hot. and to be specific i am trying to determine if someone has an easy fix for this. i realize i could just run a hot line from the battery to the rear but id like to...
that's pretty cool. i couldn't find any info on that when i was looking to buy my expedition. even when i went to build one on lincolns website i couldn't find any info on if it had the two speed. i tried googling it before i posted that too and still couldn't find any info. that's something i...
i love the exterior styling. ford seriously delivered with the sharp lines and angular form in this gen. although the chrome and plastic i would trade for any weight penalty a metal replacement would bring.
i hate the autostart stop so much after two weeks im ready to buy the...
im kind of waiting for overland expo west to talk to the bilstein reps there and see if they have a specific 4th gen kit in development. i would be quite surprised if they don't given the products they currently offer on various fords. im totally willing to wait for a 6112 kit until my ccd...
i would strongly consider the bilstein 6112 lift. the 6112 uses a 60mm shock bodying has better valving. this is the route i will go ass soon as i need to replace my shocks. the f150 kit is 736 bucks at stage 3 motorsports. i believe they are a sponsor or at least preferred vendor. id have to...
i wanted the navi for those seats. best seat execution I've ever seen. one of the preschool moms has one and its sweet. but the lack of a true two speed tranny kills it for me
I just got a rhino hitch. They’re really pricey but also really nice. Let’s me have full adjustability up down without having to unhook. Makes getting the prop guard up high enough to back over the curb into my yard easier . And then I can level the trailer to tow without unhooking...
