Center Cap to Use F150 Wheels?

I run 20” F150 wheels with 1.5” spacers with a 34x11. They sit nicely and no center cap issues.

2019 Limited Max Stealth includes CCD?

Everything I've read in the 4th gen says 22" wheels = CCD. Could just have the dealer take a pic of one of the struts, if there's a wire coming out of it below the coil, it has CCD. If you want to lift it, CCD is a bit of a pain.

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Rear suspension would be the same. My guess is it’s the flares.

    ADS/CCD to Conventional Struts

I've been researching the same thing. ICON makes this for the Raptor (and it says Raptor only) however this website also lists it for the Expedition. This is the company that made the SEMA build Expedition. I'm waiting for a response from them confirming it will work with the Expedition CCD...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

100%, it's just the height difference over stock vs method of lift.

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Interestingly, the SEMA build expedition looks to have the rear wheels centered despite the 2-ish inch lift. I wonder if it's just the placement of the flares? I don't see anything about modified rear control arms. I can't confirm from the pics...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

I'd say the solution is a set of fabbed adjustable control arms ($$$) or a lengthened set as mentioned. Seeing as there's a lack of aftermaket options for lifts for the 4th gen, my assumption is there isn't enough of a market out there. Most moms don't want their expo's lifted...

'20 Ticking on Cold Start Temporarily

Definitely annoying. I bought a Ram 1500 Classic with the ecodiesel brand new. It needed a new turbo at 50,000 kms...went into limp mode in the middle of nowhere towing a trailer. I don't think it matters what you buy these days, there will be issues, especially with more complex engines ie...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

I'm likely going the 3/2 as I've got CCD (although I ran into a Ford dealership owner that is planning to swap out his CCD shocks and attempt to be error-message free...will update on this). The one thing I'm not a fan of with lifting the rear is how much the tires continue to move forward in...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

While it doesn’t completely solve the transmission annoyances, it’s much better. No issues on my ‘20 with it.

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

I don't think you'll notice much performance difference going up to a 35". Gas mileage will take a hit as per usual. I'm running the 87 daily/tow tune from 5 star and I'm quite happy with it. Pulls hard and no more lugging around town.

'20 Ticking on Cold Start Temporarily

It's interesting to hear that the 2017 TSB didn't work as I'd thought it was the external arm vibrating but I guess not.

'20 Ticking on Cold Start Temporarily

I may just email a video to one of my dealers and ask if they'll deal with it rather than waste time going there. It seems it isn't a turbo issue but rather the linkage for the wastegate. You'd think they'd just come up with a cheap fix.

'20 Ticking on Cold Start Temporarily

Update on this, after listening to a few videos, I believe it's wastegate rattle. Can be heard at idle when cold or when revving stationary for a brief moment. I'm assuming it's more of annoyance but appears to be a common issue...and sounds like sh*t when cold.

'20 Ticking on Cold Start Temporarily

I've noticed our '20 seems to make a ticking noise for a few minutes on cold start. This isn't chain rattle as some have experienced as it's a bit more subtle. Anyone else experience this and, if so, do we know what it is? It goes away after a couple minutes. No issues otherwise. Thanks!

Anyone have the Fabtech 1.5" Levelling Kit?

Wondering if anyone has done the Fabtech 1.5" levelling kit? My concern is that I'd still like a slight amount of rake for towing with my Max and I've been unable to find any examples online other than on Fabtech's site. I'd do the bilstein 1.6" all around but I've got CCD so that is out. I...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Thought I’d throw mine up as it sits now. No lift on 275/65r20 (34”x11”) Nitto Terra Grapplers with F150 wheels and 1.5” Bora spacers. Without spacers, these fit with zero rubbing. Spacers required the front liners ahead of the wheels be pulled forward slightly. Tires poke just slightly with the...

Aggressive wheel and tire upgrades [no-lift]

Looks good. Think I'll have to remove the airdam on my stealth as well.

Aggressive wheel and tire upgrades [no-lift]

Any pics of your set up? I'm picking up a set of Raptor wheels as well but was going to try to stuff a smaller 315/70r17 (ie BFG).

Aggressive wheel and tire upgrades [no-lift]

I'm running 275/65r20 (34x11) Nitto Terra Grapplers on Ford F150 wheels and have zero rubbing even with powered running boards and no lift. I'll be adding 1.5" wheel spacers and will see how this changes things.

    2019 platinum 4x4 - performance tune recommendation

Keep us updated on this. Have just ordered some tunes from 5 star as well after hearing mostly good things!

Word to the wise - 34.5"s Don't Fit!

Would pushing the tires out with some spacers help? I've got 20" F150 wheels on mine with a 275/65 (34.1x11.1) and they don't rub anywhere at stock height on my Max. I'm looking to order 1.25 or 1.5" spacers to go with my 1.5" level to flush the look up.

    Rear Sway bar?

I will say that that the ride feels a bit more acceptable in my '20 Stealth after going to a proper truck tire. I've also ordered the rear sway bar and sumo coil helpers however.
