    I believe the Fortin is made in canada. I kept instructions as i made notes on them for future reference. Im glad i put this on my truck. A few hours of labor and $140!!

    I dug out my old instructions. My wire in pin 6 was violet/white. Connector was left of steering wheel under dash. Hope this helps.. fyi.. i have a 2014.. good luck!!

    07navi made a good point. I shut my a/c off when I park truck. Next morning I Wait for a few minutes after initial startup then turn on a/c, and no noise.. good call!

    I installed a Fortin remote start on my 2014 expy. Cost $99 for module, and $ 40 for flash tool. Works off existing remote. You hit lock button 3 times. I installed myself. Works great. Glad I did..

    I installed the Fortin on my 2014. Fortin uses existing key fob, depressing lock button 3 times starts vehicle. I didnt want an extra key fob in my pocket. Under $100 on amazon, $40 for flash unit. Fairly easy to install.

    I did not hook up the heated seats. Maybe that setup was in flash module, not sure. I dont want to disconnect the module to try. The remote start works. I'm happy. If you are able to enable heated seats, please post how you did it. Thank you.. scott

    i used posi tap connectors. had to lenghten 20 pin harness to reach passenger kick panel. those were soldered before install. radio, heater (for now), and fan come on. instructions say heated seats can be enabled, but i havent got that far yet..
