2006 Expedition 5.4 Engine Fail Safe
I may have posted this earlier today, don't see it now. I have been having a lot of problems with the fail safe mode. Started about 4 months ago, I went to premium gas and a lot of additive cleaner. It stopped and then started again last week. I have been using premium fuel. Any thoughts...- steveg

MPG 2006 Expedition wtih 5.4
I am getting just about 14 MPG combo of city and highway. Has been like that since I got it new, about 90,000 miles on it now. Is that MPG normal and if not, what can I do to increase it...other than not drive it.- steveg

Engine Fail Safe Mode
I have been having problems with the engine going into "Engine Fail Safe" mode at the worst times, ususally I can predict it to happen when in a line of traffic and I have taken my foot off of the gas for a few seconds and then begin to accelerate again.
