damn. i guess it's off to the junk yard. i'm not too concerned with the splicing----they will be soldered and sealed with heat shrinkable adhesive lined tubing.
the retard that owned my truck before i bought it seems to have cut the plug off of the door ajar sensor and tied the wires together to stop his dome light from coming on.
in the time-honored tradition of not half-assing things, i need to know what the part number is for the plug, preferably...
one has some slight hazing, which can most likely be polished out. it doesn't affect the light output at all. the bulbs are stock which i believe is 4300K.
i just got rid of my '99 expedition, so i no longer need these. they work perfectly, and AKAIK they are the only DOT approved (legal) HID kit available for the 98-02 Expy's. they're BRIGHT AS HELL!!!
they'll also fit certain year F-150's and Lightnings.
i'm asking $525 shipped insured UPS...
got the same codes here. they're "bank 1 lean" and "bank 2 lean". i've done some research online, and found it's most likely the MAF sensor, or the o2 sensors. i doubt it's the o2's if both banks are running lean and throwing a code---the probability of them going at the same time pretty much...
any knocking when there is "no pressure"?
my mustang's gauge would do the same thing, but i knew there was pressure due to the lack of knocking/engine seizure---it turned out to be a bad connection at the sending unit. took 2-3 beers and 20 minutes to troubleshoot. not too sure where the...
damnit---i have a silly little storage compartment instead of a sub :(
looks like i'll be building a box for the 2 12" JL audio subs i have sitting in my garage :D
i had flowmasters on my 'stang---they're F'in loud. well, i also didn't have cats on it and it was pushing around 400HP :)
i hear the magnaflow systems are pretty good on expy's.

the intake kit replaces the stock airbox and associated tubing/filter with pieces that flow a LOT better than stock.
you could also look into getting a set of good flowing heads---it'll blow your mind how much power better heads can make.
i'd suggest a new keyboard first----your "caps lock" key seems to be broken. :D
seriously though---you answered your own question. if they're quiet on your other truck, they'll be quiet on the expy. i got a set of bridgestone dueler AT revo's, which are pretty damn aggressive, and there is...
i'd suggest first trying a different dealership. they might catch something the first one missed.
it sounds to me like you have either a bad switch or a short somewhere. your other problem could also be a switch, but the chance of all your switches going at once is slim. i'd have to lean...
