    vibration in rear from subs

Getting dynamat would help. I've got 3 layers of it on my rear door and it helps to keep the bass inside the vehicle, and it reduces the rattling.

What brake rotors, calipers, and shocks to get?

Now that you mention it I was looking at those about 3 months ago. I might go with them. What about the brakes?

What brake rotors, calipers, and shocks to get?

I'm finally getting some rims this week, but they're only temporary. These are 20's, but they're from a friend so I'm getting them really cheap. I need some new brake pads and shocks, so I thought I would upgrade the rotors and calipers at the same time. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to...

    99 expo tuner benifits

Sounds like a job for SuperMatt. I know he's got a tune for the 03's. He made a custom tune for my 98 Expedition, and it's awesome. Improves power quite a bit.

    Batteries.

How did I forget that? Thanks Matt.

    Batteries.

I have a similar setup and I'm using a second battery to power it. I have an Optima Redtop battery under the hood, and a Yellowtop in the back powering just the system. It works well, but my lights still dim just a tiny bit when a beat hits. You can look at my sig to see what my system is.

    Which Rims?!?!

I like the 4th pic down. I like clean looking 6 or 7 spoke rims.

    12" or 15"?

Just to let you know beforehand, you may want to tighten the back handle. I rattled mine off. It looks like I need some sort of small clip, and a couple nuts to get my handle back on. I keep the handle in the Ex, and whenever I have to open the back door, I just plug the handle into the spot...

    12" or 15"?

Sounds perfect, as long as the amp's RMS matches the combined sub's RMS. It would hit very hard! I think Remo's right, I was just leaving out detail that made it look wrong.

    12" or 15"?

If the 12's rms is 1500, then their peak is probably around 3000. If the 15's rms is 2000, then their peak is probably around 4000. If your amp pushes 2000 watts, then you'll only be giving the 15's the bare minimum that they need to work properly. The 12's would be getting more than just the...

To sell or not to sell...that is the question.

I've taken your opinions into consideration, and I've thought about every pro and con I can think of, and the Expedition comes out on top.

    12" or 15"?

Don't start to go deaf like me! I still say the 12's would be better, one reason being that your amp's wattage is closer to the 12" subs peak than the 15's. The more closely you match the subs with an amp, the better they sound, and the longer they last.

To sell or not to sell...that is the question.

I'm looking at a friends 2001 Audi A4 1.8T. It's in very good condition with 56k miles on it, sunroof, premium stereo, leather, etc. One of the great things is its a 4 cylinder with A LOT of potential for mods because its a turbo engine. I plan on taking it to about 350-400 horsepower over time...

    12" or 15"?

I sell Kicker stuff, and I would recommend going with the Kicker CompVX's. I've seen and heard more problems with the L7's than most other subs. I see the surrounds wearing apart on them because of the square design with the ridges. I don't know if anyone here has seen that problem, but I would...

    Headers?

I have the JBA stainless steel shorty headers for my 98 4.6l Expy, and they gave me one of the biggest power increases that I've seen from any of my mods so far.

    SEAFOAM on the expy

I found out about this when I was right around 100k miles on my 98 expo, and I used 3 cans total my first time. One in the gas tank, one in the brake booster line and the crankcase, and one seafoam DEEP CREEP can sprayed into the throttle body. BEST $20 I'VE EVER SPENT. The amount of horsepower...

I believe I got 45lb poppers for my '98, and they work just fine, but I could be wrong about the size.

    Chrome side molding

Are you talking about the side trim that protects the doors? If so, I had my 98 XLT shaved, and when they did that they took the trim off. On mine there was nothing to paint, and the trim was easy to remove. You can see in my avatar how it looks.
