My rear suspension seemed to be not working and now my '99 expy looks like it's carrying a ton of load at its rear. I can't hear the air sus motor to be working too, i checked the fuses and it seemed everything is fine.
I had thesame problem, my mechanic said my transfercase needs replacing, so instead of replacing it, i converted it to 2 wheel drive by not putting my front axle in order for my front wheel to not engage into 4 wheel.... until i save enough money to buy me a transfer case.
yeah had this problem last year too, turned out my air suspension motor is draining my batery everytime i park since my car park aint that leveled, even if my expy was shut, the motor keeps pumping air to my suspension trying to level and lift my expy sooooo everytime i park, i turn my air...
My 99 Ford Exp wont start if you dont step on the gas, the engine stops if you let go of the gas pedal, i tried researching via the net bout this and some says its the IAC valve, needs cleaning or something, can someone pls show me where the damn valve is located pls? and what it looks...
The "check engine soon" light is on on my 99 expy, this problem seemed to occur every now and then. Last month same thing happened but after a few days it turned off. Is there a sensor that needs cleaning?
i think its just the motor for the air suspension man, If ur truck sits for quite some time, tendency is that air seeps or lessens on ur suspension so the motor automatically pumps air on it.
make sure its not a stolen car..lol *joke* for me i'd check the suspensions, no oil leaks on the engine, no noisy squeks when running, good A.C... to sum it up man, get a mechanic to check it out for u.
