Thank you! So figure 13 is a good example of some of the small cracks that I have (which cannot be felt), although not as numerous as in the photo. Most of the bigger ones cannot be felt either.
On most of those cracks, they are beneath the surface. If you ran your fingernail or other sharp object across them, you can tell they aren't on the surface. There are absolutely zero scuffs, scrapes, chips on the lens and it's on both sides of the vehicle. I haven't backed into anything and the...
Thanks for the tip apex96. I'll get in touch with Richmond. There is also Koons Ford further up north. As far as volume goes, I believe Koons is up there too. I'll report back and let everyone know how it goes.
99WhiteC5sCoupe: You are totally correct. I took it to the dealer where I purchased it and they snapped photos of the tail lights and sent them to Ford. Ford replied back that the lights appeared to be from a collision of sorts and not stress cracks. I'm attaching photos of the lights. Honestly...
Both of my tail lights on my 2021 Expedition Limited are starting to get "stress cracks". There are random cracks ranging
from a few millimeters to a few inches that have begun to show up.
The vehicle is just over a year old with only 17k miles. The lights should be covered under the warranty...
Odd issue. I was handwashing my '21 Limted (17k miles) getting ready for a trip when I noticed that both of my tail lights have small cracks running horizontal to the ground. The driver side is the worst but the passenger side has some as well. They aren't shattered but the cracks are plentiful...
I've pretty much tried to stick with Motorcraft Oil Filters for my '21 Limited (FL-500S). For at least the last 6-8 months, I've been having a heck of a time finding them in stock anywhere. I do see them in stock at Amazon. I ordered one off of Amazon and that came to me with such lousy...
My '21 Limited has the HD Tow. Mine is not a daily driver or a grocery getter as it's just our family vehicle. I do tow a 6k lb boat/trailer a couple times a year. It's great for that tow. I also enjoy the extra get up and go it has. Even if I didn't tow at all, I'd still want the package. My .02.
I'm on my 3rd vehicle with WeatherTechs. I bought the 3 row package for my '21 Limited. When I owned my other two vehicles, I lived on a dirt road with a gravel driveway. The WeatherTechs really kept the inside of my trucks clean. Well worth the money to me.
If they are dry rotted, they would qualify. Per the manual:
Workmanship and Materials
Michelin passenger and light truck tires, used in normal service on the vehicle on which they were originally fitted and in accordance with the maintenance recommendations and safety warnings contained in this...
I found this guide (granted a few years old) but shows a pretty good warranty on OE tires.

How old are the stock tires? There might be some sort of tread wear warranty.
If you switch, I can vouch for the Defender. I owned the LTX M/S 2 on several of my cars (I believe the M/S 2 was the Defender predecessor). Great tread life. Best overall tire for all season driving.
I've towed with both a regular expedtion and a crew cab Ram. The shorter wheelbase on the Expy does make backing a boat (on a 26ft trailer) down the ramp a lot simpler. I can back my trailer up and park it on a dime with my expy. With that said, it wasn't impossilbe with the Ram, either. Just...
Well, before you do anything with your current Expedition (and if you want to keep it), I would take it to an independent shop and see if they can give you a second opinion. Make sure it's someone with a good reputation and can tackle bigger jobs. I had a very similar issue with my '05. You can...
You'll be perfectly fine. I had an '05 XLT with 3.55's. It had the junk 5.4 motor (crappy HP and torque, crummy 6 spd transmission) and that junker pulled my 6000lb boat with no real issues. On steeper ramps, I would put it in 4 low and yank it right out of the water. But my '21 with the tow...
My last update was free. I had a Ram truck before this Expedition. Map updates were free for 5 years and then you had to buy another 5 year subscription. Hope the Fords aren't like that.
In this market, that’s actually not a bad deal. I was considering used but ended up getting a ‘21 limited instead. Dealer came in at a few grand under MSRP and gave me an ungodly amount for my trade. It was end of month/end of quarter so I am thinking they were short of their quota. Good luck...
Neither the valve nor the "tight oil filter" makes any sense to me. And if a tight filter causes issues then Ford is their own worst enemy because I just did my break-in oil change on my '21 and I had to really struggle to get the FoMoCo filter off.
Just out of curiosity, what brand of filter...
I connected my '21 to my home wifi this morning and at first it told me it was up to date and then a few minutes later it showed that an update was downloading. It's either a huge update or the speeds from the download server are miserably slow. Nonetheless, it finally finished. Did you give it...
I don't know if a Raptor is the ideal engine to benchmark HP gains on since they are already a hot motor. I'd be more interested in seeing a dyno test on a more "stock" engine.
Good luck with the mod.
Thanks everyone. I don't have the drive lock on the drive mode selector and I've not looked at the differential itself. Totally confusing to me why there is a discrepancy between the window sticker and the axle ID.
I'm trying to figure out exactly what rear end my 2021 Limited has. The vehicle sticker indicates that it comes with the 3.73 non-limited slip as part of the HD towing package. However, the axle code on the inside of the driver side door is 3L which indicates that it's 3.73 electronic limited...
