2000 expedition running very lean
My guess would be a coil pack going bad. I just dealt with the same issue. Turned out I had one getting ready to die and one was dead. 98 Epy 2WD XLT 115K- cali

Cali here....loking for some thoughts.
Update..... Just checked all plugs and coil packs again. Engine still misses. Upon start up it idles at 1100 RPM with minimal miss then 20 seconds later drops to 700 RPMs and has consistent miss. Noticed a small amount of white smoke at idle with the temp at 62 deg outside. Also has a leak...- cali

Cali here....loking for some thoughts.
New to the forum. I am so grateful for all of the post and information. I have a 98 Expy 2WD 5.4 with 110K. Having some engine issues. Drove it about 3 days ago and started running rough. CEL came on for #4 cyl miss fire. Bought all new plug and a COP for cyl 4. Installed them. Now...- cali
