I have a set of the Cooper Discoverer AT3 I love them. There is a little road noise from them but not bad. Good traction in the mud and the few inches of snow we get here.
The rear rotors look good. I was thinking diff if it is the bearings or the diff that's going to be a bigger job then I want to get into. Thanks for the reply's.
Sounds like its coming from the rear. No noise when just turning the steering wheel. It doesn't do it when turning curve or corner unless your starting from a dead stop. I might add that although this is a 2003 with 75,000 miles it was my Dads and I have inherited it.
Love my Cooper Tires. On my second set replaced my ATR's with AT3's. I like the AT3's a lot more the the ATR's not that the ATR's were bad but to me the AT3's are just a much better tire. It's looking like the mileage I get out of the AT3's will be much better than the ATR's.
I had the same code. Be sure to check the hoses carefully my problem was that one hose had a hole burnt in it. There is something special about the hoses get them at the dealer I remember them not costing to much. You will get one piece of hose long enough to replace both of them.
I was stopped at a red light last night and I heard my 2000 EB expy shift into 4hi. I looked at the dash and sure enough the 4x4 light was on. So I turned the knob to 4hi and back to awd and it shifted out. Crazy anyone have a clue?
Most likely the plastic intake manifiold is cracked. This happened to me at around 180,000 mi. I took my too the dealership after I diagnosed it and decided it was a bigger job than I wanted to tackle.
I am changing my idler pulley and belt tensoner and belt. Everything but the belt are orginal I have 180000 miles on my 2000 EB 4X4 with a 5.4. Should I go ahead and change the water pump while I am pretty much there anyway?
I wish our car manufactors would convert to cng. If I understand correctly the US is like the Saudi Araba of natural gas. If so then w could bring our guys and gals home from the middle east and let them continue to fight each other like they have for thousands of years.
It is a 2000 I will try the eraser that would save $50-$60 looks like you can buy just t switch but I am all for saving the $ if a eraser and a little work will fix it THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!
