Is your 4x4? cuz I have 26's on my 99 with no problems unless I have 4 big people riding. Even then its just a little scrub on sharp turns.- Jesusthug

Rough idle/driving
Try this its cheap! Replace the whole pcv assembly. It's around $40 at ford. Sounds like you could have Vac line problems. Try that first!- Jesusthug
