    fwiw those were the aftermarket subs I landed on, too. Can't remember the model but it was a JL. Just make sure it's one of their shallower mounting subs. Sounds like you'll need an amp which probably (I couldn't find one) isn't going to fit in the stock enclosure. Seems like most guys...

    Hey, my first chance to give back. If you can hear the sub and it still gets loud, but sounds like paper rattling, I bet it's the sub. I searched for an aftermarket sub and ran across a little shop in the area that does what's called "reconing" of speakers. Charged me $37 to have it done...
