easy sub box mod to accept a bulkier sub
the plastic subwooferbox on a 2002 is actually pretty nice, except for the fact that to replace the speaker you have to go with one that is 3 1/2" deep or less. the box is actually 5" deep but with the thick plastic bulge where the oem speaker magnet bolts to the back it is 3 1/2". anyways my...- timothyfleming

I don't think i will buy another ford again!!!
possible prior user. it could be that the prior owner ragged the truck out. seeing that the rotors went bad indicates heavy braking, the transmission and throttle body could be from rapid acceleration. and poor gas milage indicates both. maybe the previos owner drove it like a mustang. just...- timothyfleming

Can Anyone Help????
ive ran across this problem too. I know i first suspected air in the lines or a fluid leak, the master cylinder can also leak internally. its probably not your power booster. I would replace the pads if they are wore down. I don't know why but it worked for me.- timothyfleming

Changing Plugs on high mileage 2000 EB, should I just not tempt fate?
maybe the computer is relearning. I would replace the plugs anyways. mine had 130,000 on them when i replaced them. the gap was up to 80 thousanths from 55 (due to wear). it took me 4 hours on the 5.4. get a good cushion to lay on. anyways while i was replacing mine i found the pcv valve on...- timothyfleming
