    projectSHO89 and ELVATO thx guys , i bypassed the harness and wired from the ECM to the CHT with the wire u described EL and wahlah works like a charm .. i greatly appreciate the help guys

    thx for the schismatics thats what i needed to do the test on it , i didn't know if it changed color b4 the ECM .. well workin 6p to 6a tonite so when i get off in the mornin ill check it and post results .. thx again guys

    well i disconnected the CHT from the harness and my temp. gauge still done the same thing .. shows its not the CHT sensor , does anyone have any ideas ?? PLEASE .....

    love my 5.4 but ready to shoot it (44 MAGNUM) well no ECT sensor in my 5.4L yet still gauge down on the cold mark and when i get up to about 2500 RPMS the idiot light comes on also , no clue why my CHT is reading the fallowing codes P1289 -- CHT out of range-high input P0128 -- coolant...

    i have a 99 expedition 5.4L the ECT (engine coolant temp.) sensor is shorted out and i need to change it .. my question is can anyone tell me where it's located ?? i have already changed the CHT (cylinder head temp.) sensor , all the books and people i have referred too all are dead ends ...

    temp sending unit 99 E.B EXP.

    i have replace the head temp. sending unit under the intake , now my engine temp. sending unit is out .. i have no location on engine to replace it even the dealership told me from service dept. that they're lead mechanic doesn't no either .. is there anyone with a clue .. 1999 E.B Expedition 5.4
