guys, I am REALLY sorry about the lack of presence here. The headlight portion of my business has just skyrocketed and its consuming a LOT of my time! HID conversion
If any of you guys are looking for a true retrofit, doing HIDs the right way........let me know. I'd love to do up a set of projectors for an Expedition (I have a set of F250s here right now!). :D HIDs in stock housings........well.......its "ok" - but the best way to do it is from a... -

Trick I've seen done..........use a deck of cards between the wheel and the tire instead of tape. I can't speak to it personally, but.....seen it done! -
retrofit headlights
they are aimed too low. Rule of thumb - 2" drop over 25ft. Rotation is a bit off, but nothing absolutely crazy. -

I really hope they aren't..........cuz the cutoff on those stink, and they are about the cheapest components around for a retrofit. I can't "down" it too much though, my first retrofit - same basic stuff. It worked great, but my new setup kills them. -

The "common theme" with PD, its easy to touch up. I have heard of people doing an entire bed with it (inside), it holds up ok - even to a hammer toss. Obviously, lots of use, not so much. Other uses I've seen for it: wheels wheel wells under hood (replacing the liner) rockers flares... -
