Adding Electric fans on 2nd gen
I am looking to add dual electric fans to my second gen. What would be the best way of doing this? Any links or write ups?? I have an '03 5.4 2v- Jay87LX

What seats will interchange??
I have a 2003 XLT FX4. The seats are fairly basic, cloth, 2 tone. I would like to upgrade the front seats with something with more comfort, side bolster etc. I am even open to recovering the right seats with Katskinz leather. Are any of the F150 years/seats bolt in, especially the later years?? -
2003 XLT 4x4 high and 4x4 low light flashing
Being that is has been 5* here with no let up in sight I brought it to a trusted mechanic. It was a broken wire from the passengers side kick panel fuse box to the switch or relay (whatever) in the B pillar- Jay87LX

2003 XLT 4x4 high and 4x4 low light flashing
hi. Driving down the road and my 4x4 high and 4x4low light flash 3 times When I stopped I tried to engage A4wd 4H and 4L and none will engage No previous issues, just got very cold here in Cleveland Oh the past few days. rusted transmission cooling lines
keep both lines disconnected at the radiator and aim them into a bucket, start the truck for 1-2 seconds, you will be able to see which line is pumping fluid, keep that line feeding into the empty bucket, put the other one into a container of all your new fluid to suck up as it pumps out the old- Jay87LX

2nd Gen rear lower control arm bushings
I started hearing knocking in the back. Jacked it up, pry bar under the wheel and sure enough the rear lower busing is worn. Has anyone replaced just the bushing? Did you use a ball joint type c clamp press to press it in there?- Jay87LX

rusted transmission cooling lines
if you are replacing the lines from trans to cooler and back and doing a service at the same time you will probably need more than 12-13 qts as I would drain the TC as well, if you plan on doing any towing a larger cooler wouldn't hurt. This whole upgrade is soon on my list as well as Jmod- Jay87LX

Anyone have the GoRhino grill guard on their 2nd gen?
I am thinking of adding the GoRhino 3000 to my '03 FX4, I am wondering if you are able to retain the front tow hooks as it seems to mount to the frame using those holes although I did see one pic where they retained the tow hooks but was unsure if it was a goRhino or if they were fabbed on...- Jay87LX

Over the last few days... 8 Motorcraft plugs, 2 front hub assy, rear gear oil with friction modifier, oil change and am getting 4 new tires tomorrow- Jay87LX

I am redoing my timing components and don't want to put in junk so like up grading the oil pump to a melling M176 I would also like to upgrade the tensioners being that it seems Ford ones fail too often. Which Melling oil pump for 5.4 2V??
I watched Fordtechmakuloco's youtube vid on replacing timing components and tensioners etc on the 5.4 3v. In that vid he recommends replacing the oil pump with melling M360 which when I try to search for a 2v (my truck is an 03) it says its the wrong pump and doesn't appear to list one of the...- Jay87LX

Procharged 24V 5.4 Expy?
I was going to ask a similar question as the OP, did a search, this OLD thread came up so I will just bring it back from the dead.
