My biggest gripe was the volume difference between front and rear. I ended up swapping aftermarket speakers all around and it made a big difference in sound. I have the Sony system in my 250 and I think it sounds great.
New fluid won't fix a leaking seal. The fact that you have to pump it shows it's not normal. Ford probably doesn't know what's normal so they're guessing.
My 08 stopped just fine. Even with 24" rims. And I was never concerned about stopping with my boat behind me. Something is wrong with your...
Change your plugs. I bet they're toast. Manufacturers talk about 100k mile service interval, but I've never seen a set actually last that long. The first gens don't have the stuck plug issues. That didn't start until the 3V's went in. Which I think was 05.
Found these on the work bench and since the Expedition is gone I don't need them.
Chrome inner door handles. One driver and one passenger side. $40 shipped.
Third gen upper grill inserts. Only opened the one package to look at it. $60 shipped.
I ended up getting a decent amount for my Expy. After some talking with the wife she said it was time to get something new. And I've been wanting a truck forever. So last night we bought this:
It's our first new vehicle. And I should no longer have to worry about towing anything.
Haven't been posted in a while. The Expedition has been doing great. My buddy and I put new Bilstein shocks in the rear the weekend before the 4th. It towed great to and from Az.
Then on Monday I was making a run to 7-11 at lunch and some dumb ass in a Honda Civic decided to run a red light...
You might want to make a list of everything you need along with the engine parts to rebuild it. Plus the machine work that would be needed. You might find yourself not far off a remanufactured engine.
I think you have two things. The missing is probably a coincidence. But the lack of light in your gauges is probably from something not plugged in. You'll have to pull the dash and double check your work.
A flashing CEL usually means there's a miss at that time. It should be stored so you can...
I wasn't taking anything out on you. Just pointing out some research on your part would have given you the same answer I did. I'm sorry, but I don't see how suggesting you do your own research is bad form. If I don't know something a forum is usually the last place I go to for an answer...
As I pointed out, there's a search engine called Google. You could've researched it yourself instead of wanting to be spoon fed. There's also a long thread about the subject that I believe roxy linked for you.
Because Ford techs know everything. Like the one that told me my drop in filter was...
Might be an issue with the throttle body. Check the TPS voltage. And have someone work the pedal while you watch the voltage. It should be linear. You can also try cleaning the throttle body.
