any recent maintenance; or do you have maintenance due/past due other than what you've identified? Quick hits: * IAC replace/clean * Fuel Filter * Air filter * MAF Dirty * Vacuum leak/s * PCV valve/line those codes surely aren't good and can exacerbate any condition as the PCM tries to compensate.- 1997SCEBFEX

Remote oil filters
Nicely done! Q: have you noticed any change in oil pressure; deduce you have a gauge? Q1: Do you alternate when you change filters now, or both at once and an extended periodicity? Last, have you ever considered adding magnets to the bottom of your filters?- 1997SCEBFEX

Effort saved replacing engine & transmission together
IMHO, ying or yang. My trans was completely serviceable/useable, thus only pulled the motor for passenger head replacement & rebuild after spitting a plug so driveline not manipulated. it could go exactly opposite if your trans is the culprit.- 1997SCEBFEX

Rear Air Suspension Trouble
different model year, but my rear bags dropped due to the air union coupler failing which is under the master cylinder as I have four-corner load leveling suspension. part number here if it helps: Ford # 2L1Z-5B322-AA I also replaced compressor due to catastrophic failure, and rear bags...- 1997SCEBFEX

Differential Fill Plug
different model year, but passing on my experience: used a 1/2 in ratchet and tapped with a rubber mallet to loosen on my '97 differential when I changed it back in '12. also suctioned it out vice removing the diff pan bolts. don't forget friction modifier if you have the LS rear, and I used...- 1997SCEBFEX
