Tire fitment question...
I believe it's still a 31 inch tire which are stock on our expeditions. You could go to a 285 or even 315 with minor trimming to plastic. -

I have power to the shift motor. When the switch is turned. Nothing. But if I unplug it the dash lights indicators come on.- reefkrazy

Update ; I took the dash apart all around the steering wheel. Removed the fuse box and disconnected the gem. No corrosion or water damage. It checked out. I did find a little corrosion on an electrical fitting in the engine bay where the air hose goes down to front differential. Cleaned...- reefkrazy

Ok one more question. If I unhook the wire harness from the shift motor and then turn the switch lights awd4 then 4x4h. Then I plug the harness back in then turn the switch then nothing......does this mean the shift motor is bad ? When I first bought the truck it worked. Then it stopped. Then...- reefkrazy

Whats more likely to go. Relay or gem. Also notice when I disconnect the shift motor harness , the lights come on in dash.- reefkrazy

Ok it's a 97. The shift motor is getting power. Tested switch and that works. Gem haven't messed with it. The thing is the relay never clicks at all. There is 12 volts being sent to it. just a test light and meter.- reefkrazy

Is there a way to test the relay? There is no clicking when switch is moved. Tested switch, It works. Pulled wire harness off shift motor. Light finally comes on in dash but still no click from relay. Put wire harness back on motor, No light and nothing. By the way finally found where the...- reefkrazy

hub centric wheel adapters ?
Ok so When I got back to shop, I took all the wheels off and grinded the ends of the bolts off flush. I centered the rim to the spacer as best as I could...still wobble. I just ordered hub centric 2" spacers. I will sell the 1.25 thick ones when the new ones come in. I found old plastic hub... -

There is a little gap between rim and spacer. The rim is sitting on studs. I have a picture on my phone but cant post it now lol. Waiting for the town electrical inspector to show up between 12 and 4 :( -

The adapter is tight to the hub. What do you mean by runout ? I think the adapter is centered but im going to take the rim off after work and check it. I cant tell if the wobble is only from the front right tire or not. Only steering wheel shakes back and forth not the whole truck.
