    Acorn Nuts

    Couldn't get a wheel off today. Haven't tried before. The factory lug wrench wouldn't work because the nuts had swollen. I need to replace all of them. This sounds like I common problem. What brand of nuts is everybody using? Or people just buying a bigger lug wrench?

    Going Cheap on Max

    There are advantages to going "cheap" on a new Expy. I got the Max XLT 4WD. Splurged on the White Platinum paint, which is well worth it IMO. We got the 201A package because hopefully the leather will be easier to clean. Didn't know it came perforated, would have preferred non perforated...

    CD Error?

    I just sold my 2008 XLT with the in-dash 6 CD player. The buyer just told me they loaded some CDs, but they're getting an error message and the discs won't play, eject, etc. I might have the chance to see it later today. Store bought CDs. Any ideas?

    Picked up my new Max XLT 4x4 yesterday. I test drove a Platinum or Limited, so was surprised to see the cheap, black, plasticy dash. Not impressed, but I'm not paying another $8K or more to upgrade it. Would it have cost Ford much to do these things a bit nicer, or to at least use different...

    Max 4x4 0-60??

    Anybody have an idea? I read the Platinum was 5.7 secs(?), and the standard WB at 6.2 secs. I figure the Max should at 6.5 secs. I don't really care, just curious because my 1989 Corvette was thought to be pretty quick at 6.0. It had 245HP out of the 5.7 liter engine.

    I have a 2008 Expy, bought used in 2010. Been waiting for the redesign, thought it would be 2-3 years. I drove a 2018 Max yesterday and really like it. A few questions. I was hoping for load leveling with the Nivomat shocks, but they're apparently not available on the 4th Gen. Doesn't sound...
