    If you don't do a lot of driving on snow and or ice, then you'll more than likely be fine Get up to like 50 on isolated road, then slam on the brakes to see how hard it is to get these beasts to lock up the tires on dry pavement, and maybe try that when it's raining too just for added insurance.

Looks like the only thing to do is replace the rubber track that goes around the windows frame and maybe a "bend" or "tweak" on the window regulator.     Mine was doing that same thing, it was the pressure switch on the master cylinder. you might be able to disconnect it temporally for a quick test to see if it works disconnected.

    What I do is stick the hook of a bungee cord in the latch, so the door "shut". Plus with the cord, it you'll see that it needs to be opened before shutting it

    head rest removal

    On my 2000 EB, there's a tiny hole at the base of the head rest. You just need a paperclip or thumb tack and that will release the catch on there.
