Thanks. Very pleased with them so far! I researched them plenty first. They rate as good and better than the bfg at. They ar my first a/t purchase ever. I ve only ever run special traction or mud tires. Nice quiet. Yet grippy!
Its not worth the $1500 plus to fix it. Dump a bottle of lucas in and live with it. It will go years and years yet. I bought a motor 3yrs back thinkin the worst. My noise gets no quieter or louder. May just sell the spare engine
I had it reflashed for the same problem, if you can monitor underhood temps. you will see the intake air charge temp is super high when it runs poor, sluggish , lack of power. Mine got a little better when I discovered the sensor was clocked wrong and airflow was not going through it properly...

Thats the cause of the problem I'm sure. lack of grease causing failure. Couldnt even see the grease fittings, skid plate looked like it had never been off too!
My battery ran dead while flashing.. It wiped out my stock tune, and didnt write the custom tune. Luckily edge had me plug it in to fusion, and remotely put my stock tune back onto the edge cs, I replaced my weak battery and all has been good since!
heres a good one that just came up.....we jave intermiottent moments of no power steering. belts good, fluids good . No problems otherwise, nothing binding in steering. Anyone?
its in the lower steering colum shaft. connecting steering wheel to the steering gearbox. not rotational play but you can grab the shaft in the middle and move it side to side, splined u joint couplers on wither end are good, and tight ( its in whatever slip spline) set up they have
Hi the steering shaft is very loose in our o1 expy. You can grab it where it goes through the firewall and get some good movement. The couplers and u joints are tight. Is it safe to do a roadtrip with? It appears to me like it cannot fail by design. But want to be sure
ok, I was thinking perfectly normal. previous tranny max temp was 217 f without towing on a hot day powering up a hill, now I'm at 224 max temp. normal?
Hey all, question on 2nd gear hauling steep hills. When pulling a 7-8% or greater grade with about 7500lb 2nd gear will not run unlocked, only with torque locked. Is this a heat / clutch protection thing? just sucks because I have to slow way way down and run 1st gear. not so bad on not as steep...

our 2001 5.4 sucks wind on any hill with our 24ft tt, I cant imagine a 4.6! my brother in law tows a 28ft 5th wheel, he actually swaps on smaller tires when he tows ( poor mans gear change) and it works. just a suggestion.
