You are the best!!! That is the problem. So next question… how do you fix it? Replace this connector?

    A/C & heat issues

Quick update to add a comment about what’s happening - Today while I was driving around and the heat was set to on, it actually started to work again. When I turned the car off 10 minutes later at the store and then got back in, the heat wasn’t blowing again… So this seems like it’s an...

    A/C & heat issues

Thanks! I checked all the fuses in both boxes that referred to anything about climate controls. I’m on the road so can only visually check the blade fuses, so I’ll check the others and the relays when I get home.

    A/C & heat issues

Started this week having cooling and heating problems. Will try to explain all the things I noticed. - Blower on front a/c does not blow air or heat at any fan setting. -Controls for front air and heat not doing anything. Changing temps, speeds, or vents does nothing. - I don’t think the...

Rear entertainment center console TV DVD player

Has anyone upgraded their rear entertainment console as a DIY project? If so, what new console did you use and what were the steps to do it? I know local shops can do it, but I’m looking for a cheaper option. Mine is a 2010, if it matters. Thanks!

    A/C vinegar smell

Thanks! I promise I did search for a previous thread first. Just didn’t look outside this gen’s forum.

    A/C vinegar smell

Any ideas why my air conditioning smells like vinegar for a few minutes when first turned on? Possibly mold/mildew, but smells exactly like vinegar rather than those. And if you know, how do you fix it?

Water leak at the rear entertainment center console

Thanks, but not likely. It leaks after heavy rains. Meant to mention that earlier.

Water leak at the rear entertainment center console

Looks like a lot of people have reported leaks on these, but none mention this particular spot. On my 2010 Limited, water will sometimes drip off the corner of the rear entertainment center console on the right side below the DVD slot. Any thoughts on what to have checked for blockage? I'm...

    Coolant leak

I have a coolant leak at the T junction of the hose in the photo. This is on a 2010 Limited EL w/ 5.4L engine. As best as I can tell, this is the correct replacement part...

    Parking brake/sensor rubber bumper

Thanks Andy, I appreciate that. And you seem to be right about a salvage yard. Parts rep at the dealer also found no reference to the rubber bumper, only the entire e-brake mechanism. In the meantime though, I found a short term solution. Know those rubber bumpers in the door jams? They are...

    Parking brake/sensor rubber bumper

This piece. The rubber bumper that snaps into that hole.

    Parking brake/sensor rubber bumper

Does anyone have the part number for the parking brake rubber bumper that pushes into the sensor on a 2010 Expedition? None of the exploded diagrams I could find showed that. Thanks.

3rd Gen - Emergency brake warning not turning off

Thank you, and that was easy! For future reference, here are two photos. The second is the top of the e-brake pedal. Circled is the hole that the cone end of the rubber bumper pops into. The first photo is looking up towards the dash. Circled is the button that the rubber bumper pushes to tell...

3rd Gen - Emergency brake warning not turning off

New problem started this week, whereas when I pull the emergency brake handle to release it, the warning light above the trip computer does not turn off. And when I put it in Drive, the trip computer also says the pedal is not released. And when the car is in motion, it dings at me. As far as...

    Air suspension conversion

I called Suncore too, I talked to tech support, and they said the same about towing - keep the air suspension. Now when I talked to Strutmasters, I got a different answer, but I think I know why. They only recommended the coil conversion and insist that all four must be done at the same...

    Air suspension conversion

I just talked to a tech at Arnott. First, let me say their customer service and knowledge is awesome! I understand why they are always so highly recommended. Also, here's what I learned. Their coil conversion kit say's "not compatible with EL" but, they will actually work. The problem isn't...

    Air suspension conversion

So I've read through what I think are all of the air suspension conversion threads, and I want to make sure I haven't missed anything. Am I correct in understanding that the only option specifically for an "EL" is the Strutmasters coil over strut kit? One of the threads referred to the reason...

    Torq Thrust ST wheels

They just come in 20s for this, so I'm looking at a new wheel and tire package, since the stock wheels are 22s.

    Torq Thrust ST wheels

I need to replace the wheels on my black 2010 EL Limited, and I'm trying to decide on a new set. Has anyone here specifically installed a set of Torq Thrusts like these and have a photo? This is from the Tire Rack website and sort of gives you an idea of what they would look like, although my...

    Motor/Pump noise and vibration

Sorry, I'm used to posting in the 3rd Gen forum... Mine's a 2010 EL Limited. If it matters, it has air suspension, towing package, and retractable running boards.
