Mistake in Owner's Manual: headlight aim
So, just went through this with my father's 2004 expedition (installing a replacement set of headlights). The rear 10mm bolt ONLY holds the headlight in place. Column gear selector binding, stiff to operate
Had the same issue with my 98. Eventually the shift indicator would not line up correctly. Turns out the shift indicator wire kinks/binds which causes the shift handle to feel stiff. Took it do the dealer for repair. Total cost to replace the PRND2L indicator was $150 (2008). There's nothing...- hammerhead fred
