Randomly going into limp mode (wrench symbol) and no codes
I have a 2011 EL XLT with the tow package had this happen once while towing our camper and disengaging tow button and the turning it back on While going up a hill freaked me out but shutting off engine for a few minutes cleared it all up- Rjwecker

update from last year I had my 2011 expedition lift gate repainted by Ford last year and this week while cleaning the car, noticed the start of more bubbling along the edge of the chrome of the license plate cover ,this time its out of warrantee according to Ford and my premium extended only...- Rjwecker

Bubbling I'm not sure if I posted a follow up to my initial remarks but Ford did take care of my bubbling problem and the dealership did a good job they even found more evidence of bubbling and corrosion at the bottom edge of my light gat along the rubber seal. Update Just to update,spoke with the dealership body shop today and have an appointment to take my Expedition in for repair covered under the 36/36 bumper to bumper next Monday. Very good news and restores my faith in Ford.- Rjwecker
