2nd Gen 3" Body lift COMPLETE

How did the steering linkage go, no problems there with it being too extended? How did you actually lift the body once it was off the frame?

@MissileMech: Looking good buddy! How is the Expy handling with the tires sticking out that far? Just curious because I almost got some wheels that would have pushed my tires out further, which is a look that I like, but ran into some info about "scrub radius". Supposedly too much or too little...

    315/70/17 Fit?

Okay, the tires arrived today. I'm so pumped to get these on. I have to say that for a re-tread, these things look gorgeous. We'll see how they balance out though. I'll be doing the install on Dec. 20 or 21, will post before and after photos. For now here are some photos of the tires, and...

Looks great! I will have pictures up of my project too. My tires are shipping today and my suspension pieces will be here Wednesday. I wonder what I'll be up to this weekend?! Would you mind sharing your source for the spacers? Just in case I end up needing them.

    315/70/17 Fit?

Oh man, that doesn't sound nice. I see that you have the Ranchos on your expy. I'm hoping that by running the ReadyLift spacers I have which are 3/2 (Front / Rear, respectively) I will be able to squeeze these tires in there like DetroitDarin has done. If not, then this is going to suck bad.

The trigger hath been pulleth'd! Treadwright ran an irresistible Black Friday deal, free shipping on all tires, any size. So I'm going with the 315/70/17 Guard Dogs with Kedge Grip. Go big or go home I guess LOL. Link to tires for those interested: Treadwright Guard Dogs 315/70/17...

    Anti-Sway Bar

Eibach is a reputable company, and so is Hellwig. I am sure that Eibach stopped production due to lack of sales. I don't think with the amount of great products Eibach turns out, that they would have botched a simple sway bar. Also Eibach wouldn't be the first company I've heard of discontinuing...

    Insurance Company Dis! (Humor)

A little over $200 sounds about right. I know when I had my 2010 F-150, CA registration was about equivalent to one monthly payment on the truck. If I remember correctly a little over or under $600 :pp:

    Insurance Company Dis! (Humor)

I'm originally from CA. Out there I would pay in excess of $250 (at least) for registration. It's completely out of control.

    Insurance Company Dis! (Humor)

This is how State Farm characterizes my "truck". I've always called it my truck, but I guess I am just trying to cover up the fact that I drive a "Sport Wagon". The text below is straight off of my insurance card. WTF, ego smashed... Effective Date Nov-21-2014 Expiration Date May-14-2015...

    315/70/17 Fit?

I ordered my wheels yesterday!! Level 8 Tracker 17" I'm thinking I might backdown off of the 315's for now :-/ I'm going to get Treadwright Guard Dogs, and if I get the 285's they are cheaper, but also have free shipping. Grrrrr decisions, decisions. What do you guys think?

    315/70/17 Fit?

I'm curious about wheel specs too. I'm looking at getting some wheels with a 12mm offset, and 8.5" wide. It's supposed to give me about .6" more inner well space. We'll see, maybe I'll end up finding something with less offset.

    315/70/17 Fit?

I'll be doing a 3/2 Readylift soon and I really want to go all the way up to the 315/70/17 over a 285/70/17. Can anyone tell me if the 35's will fit okay after the 3/2 Readylift? Or am I just going to regret it? Thanks

SCT Tuner Question RE: O2 Sensors

I believe so! They are essentially plug n' play as far as using them in the vehicle. The place most people would likely have some issues is connecting the device to their PC to upload custom tune files. That can MAYBE confuse some people. But don't worry!! YouTube can save all! I haven't checked...
