Climate control for the driver and passenger zones The display is showing the set cabin temperatures. If you notice in the top right corner of the display, there is another 17.5 in the glare.
I run premium in both my Expy & F150. I get the best economy with the good stuff with my driving habits. I have the 36 gallon in the EL, the F150 has the standard 26 gallon tank. We'll get 500+ around town with the Expy. 650-700 on the highway
I have a 17 Platinum, and a 19 F150... My wife loves the compact nature of the 17 cabin. Me being 6'5",can't stand the difference. I love the truck except for how compact the seating is compared to the new body. If ours wasn't mobility modified, I'd be looking at rolling it over.
Another great point actually... My 05 was a bit lose at first. After tightening them down is when I started messing around with the position adjustment to try and get it tighter.
my 2005 and 2017 both did this... VERY annoying. Based on what I could find, it seems to be play in the gearing of the power seats. If you put the load on the backside of the gearing it almost eliminates it. Try putting the seat in the location you want it, and very briefly bumping the seat back...
25K on the clock and zero concerns. My 17 Expy has the 6 speed while my 19 F150 has the 10 speed. The 10 speed took a little while to get used to as it didn't seem to shift when I expected it to. It has gotten a lot better as the programing learned my driving habits. Getting in my Expy is a...
Maybe so :-)
I went from a 95 Bronco to the Expedition in 05... I have to be honest, I was completely baffled by this set up. I do like the default so you will have 4WD if you need it. It's not all that unlike driving with the manual lock hubs in the locked position when not in 4wd I guess. The...
I disagree.... I have a combined 200K plus miles on these with my trucks. Never had a problem. Granted, I don't know if they changed the design on the 18 and up though.
pretty sure they've been like this forever on the Expy... I know my 05 had this as well. I wonder what they changed on them over the years. I never had a problem with my 05, nor my 17.
My 05 did this a few times due to a faulty TPS. Replaced the throttle body and it never happened again. Not sure if the Ecoboost motors have this concern. My 2017 has never done this to compare.
I use mine constantly. Especially handy when we are loaded up for a trip with either the bikes or my son's wheelchair carrier on the hitch.
It's a little tall for some folks I assume, I know my wife struggles but still uses it.
Agree, my mistake... the point is, when a component in the AC system fails, best practice is to change everything you can or you will be doing it multiple times.
Most compressor warranties are dependent on the condenser and evaporator both being changed. any debris in the system from a component failure introduces a cycle of repeated parts replacement. Make sure all was replaced.
ManUporShutUp, your tech comment is exactly why I did the same with my Platinum. I can handle anything problematic with the drive train, it's all the bells and whistles that had me concerned over the long run.
I got it on my 17 Platinum when I bought her. It extends the bumper to bumper out to 100,000. I had this truck modified for my disabled son, so I won't be rolling this one over for a long time. it's insurance, you hope you don't need it but pay for it just in case.
