I pull around that weight with a shorter trailer. The boat I pull is 25 feet with a diesel motor in the boat, hence the weight. With a trailer that adds several feet, the key is making sure the weight is distributed properly. And as far as I know and thing over 2000lbs is (supposed) to have...
I had inquired about an absurdly low price on a 2003 F350 quad Cab 7.3 Diesel, they were asking 3250. "Amanda" replied she was on a military base as well. Seems that is the standard scam. I feel the saying "If it is too good to be true it is" fits perfectly when looking for a vehicle.

Should it be a constant 12v or 12 volts when you hit the button. When I probed it a few days ago it was dead until I hit lock or unlock then it would spike quickly
Thank you for the quick replies, I added the year in the first post with additional info. Also I do not have a message center and when you say 'power' liftgate does this mean it opens by itself with a button? If so mine is manual.
