Transmission slipping in first but...
Not after adding fluid... I'll get a day then i need to add another quart... So my question is... I've put about 4 quarts of fluid in in the last week and every other day having to add another or it slips.. where the hell can 4 quarts of fluid go when there's no puddle under the truck? New exhaust now engine idle issues
Just had the truck inspected put on new exhaust and it's running worse now than with the old exhaust. The engine is surging or loping is what the mechanic said. Put it on diagnostics and came back saying egr flow issue (just replaced egr less than a year ago plus some vacuum line and that crazy...- Kermit

power window power locks no power
Just like it says... Power locks died over the winter, now recently power windows don't work, fuses good, switches work and have power to the switches, see a voltage drop when switch is activated, but windows and locks still don't work....are there relays I'm missing? Need Rear Break line Diagram plz
OK, so now that the charging issue seems to be fixed, now my rear break line has sprung a leak. Anyone have a technical drawing/diagram for a 99 expy non load leveling, 4wd, 4.6L, non air ride, rear left wheel break line schematic? Need a Belt Diagram 99 Expy
Like it says, need a diagram... Need to replace one of the idler/tensioner pullies as it's seized up, and want just in case memory fails me. Also any tips on making this job easier? Thanks in advance :)- Kermit

weird goings on 99 expy
OK had an incident today where my truck stalled and wouldn't start without a jump. Battery light came on intermittently yesterday. '99 4.6 won't start...
... It almost started, maybe ran like a second, almost turned like you didn't hold the key long enough, then repeated attempts it would just crank and not turn over. Can smell fuel, can hear the starter whir after each attempt, but won't turn over. The starter relay fuse looked OK. Feels kinda...- Kermit

Exhaust smells rich and decreased mpg
99 4.6 xlt 191k mi...Just like it says, today leaving a clients house idling for a bit before I left I noticed the exhaust smelled rather rich compared to how it usually smells. No smoke tho, and it was the second trip out for the day. Oil change about 3 weeks ago, refilled with penzoil 10w30...- Kermit

Interesting... mystery smoke from tailpipe
Hey gang... Here's an interesting one... 99 expy, 180k-ish miles, 100k tune up done by previous owners , 4.6 motor, runs strong and smooth but with a little vibration at startup idle. Most of my trips are shorter jaunts, 20-ish miles at 45-55 mph on rural routes but occasional highway jaunts...- Kermit

Drivers Door Key Pad p.i.t.a
What is up with this thing... It works maybe 1 out of 5 times I try to use it to unlock the doors, and maybe 1 outta 3 when locking them. Do I just lack the touch? Pressing the buttons too fast? Bad relay? ... Thoughts?- Kermit

Removing/Hiding Scratches on Alloy rims...
So some moron in my Expy's life took steel wool to the rims to clean off god knows what and it has left fine scratches all over them (obviously, right...) They are the stock alloy rims and not the high gloss chrome rims. I tried a decent chrome polish yesterday to "hide" them but it didn't... -
Installing on Board Overhead computer?
So I have a 99 xlt and was wondering (because there's a space for it in the overhead console) if you can add an aftermarket trip computer/compass if one wasn't factory installed? If yes does anyone have any links to one or any idea how you would install it? -
